My bf and I kinda stumbled upon this place after driving a friend home one day. We were surprised by how out of control busy it was in the take out area. This place has been swamped every time I've been there, but for for good reason...the pizza is delicious! My family discovered Sal’s about 4 years ago and it is the best around! We get take out at least once a week and I can honestly say we always have a perfect meal. The food is excellent, the staff is wonderful and professional, they really want their customers to have a great experience. Can’t say enough good things. Sal's is a family tradition to us, so we make the hour ride and go every year in February for our late family members birthday. This year the service was awful. Each one of us got our meal at a different time, we didn't get silverware to eat with, no one came back and asked if we needed anything. The food was just alright. Stuffed shells were lacking ricotta, pizza sauce was bland, soup tasted like from a package.I just don't think our tradition will continue at Sal's. ?
