I’ve been there many times for breakfast in the past without any issue at all. Stop today for ice cream. I really think they just need to close the ice cream part. They don’t sell self serve OK fine hard ice cream is great. There was no one in front of us. No one behind us and it took forever to get two small cones. I got the vanilla chocolate chip. It was littered in pieces of ice, which gives me the indication that it’s probably been sitting around for a while. Kind of sad cause it’s on a busy road and I think if they made the effort to make the ice cream more welcoming more people would come. We won’t be going back.

Drove by it for years and was always curious about the food. Glad we stopped in for breakfast. The food and service were excellent.

This place is the woese and will not go back. Waitress rude... walked in and as I walked in waitress cut right in front of me and never ssid sorry or excuse me almost knocked me over...gives you barely any ice in drink. Ice tea is horrible. No pickles or chips with sandwiches. Brings check without asking if we would like something else. As said will not recommend

Had the roast beef sandwich with potatoes & gravy. The roast beef was tougher than a shoes sole. Had no flavor, potatoes tasted like cardboard.
My son had a BLT with fries. The bacon was so hard you couldn't chew it. Let's just say, it wasn't a good experience.
Stepping into this cozy diner feels like a homecoming, even if it's your first visit. The friendly smiles, the scent of sizzling bacon, and the hum of happy chatter create an atmosphere that’s as comforting as the food itself.
From golden, fluffy pancakes to perfectly crisp home fries, every dish is prepared with a touch of love—the kind that makes you slow down and savor every bite. The portions are generous, the coffee flows endlessly, and the staff treats you like family, ensuring you feel welcome from the moment you walk in.
Whether it's a Sunday breakfast tradition, a midweek lunch escape, or a spontaneous dinner gathering, this diner is a reminder that good food and good company make life a little sweeter. If you're looking for a place where hearty meals and heartfelt service come together, look no further—this little gem is all you need.
Sad to report this, because this use to be a good place to eat. The quality of the food, service and quantity ...especially the cook, has gone downhill fast. I will give one example ..because there are too many to go into as of late. When you make grilled cheese..it takes at least two WHOLE PIECES of cheese....not a half of a whole piece of cheese, tomato a dandwich and even that wasn't melted very well. So when we sent it back the very rude cook made sure we could hear her yelling how grilled cheese always only gets a half a slice of cheese. We had a hard time finding the two tiny blobs of cheese on either side of the bread. The sandwich was remade with a bit more cheese....that they also thought they could charge us extra for. The bill was barely legible....in short they thought they would overbill us and would not give us the receipt. Said it was the only one she had....that is illegal. I have a picture of it at the table..we figured they would try to pull something like that. We paid exact after we figuered it out. No tip. We never do that. The waitress had joined in with the cook and then tried to back peddle. . We and everyone we know will never go again.
I don't think I've ever had a bad meal here

Great little diner. Staff very friendly & food was great & very reasonable prices.
Probably the worst experience my family has had at any restaurant in years. The owner's husband not only yelled at the waitresses but actually at my wife and children. While they were waiting for two people to arrive for less than 15 minutes (and they had already ordered food) he began to tell them he was going to charge them for the table and that he had tons of people waiting despite the fact that there were other empty tables. He didn't do this quietly but loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear and for them to get apologies from the staff. We've been almost weekly customers for years, and this guy has no business interacting with customers. Hopefully they see this review and spend a couple bucks an hour to put a cheerful person as the hostess/cashier instead of this horrible individual. Again I want to emphasize they had already ordered food so they were not wasting anyone's time or money. The wait staff and the kitchen have always been great, but as long as he's there we will not be.
