This place makes you feel like you are in your G-moms house waiting for grandmas' cooking. The energy at Chef Reeky's is very peaceful and friendly.
As a vegan, I was thrilled when I found this gem of a restaurant! I was even more ecstatic when I tasted a few of the MANY vegan options. The food tasted wonderful, flavorful and amazing! It was hard to choose just a few items off the menu. They even have tasty, vegan desserts. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the vibe hip and cool inside. My meat eating husband was also thrilled with both his meal and mine (when I let him have a little bite!). We will def. be back...read full review
First time and definitely not the last @chefreekyscafe this morning. The cafe has a unique-cool vibe, with some soft blues playing in the background, a nice easy atmosphere .
The menu is truly appetizing and it was hard to choose. We decided on the Upside down pineapple pancakes, omg topped with a scoop of homemade pineapple ice cream. Based on the reviews, Chef Reeky’s Cafe & Juice Bar offers a delightful ambiance that promotes relaxation, with welcoming and helpful staff. Located in Woodlyn, it provides a serene escape. While not exclusively vegan, the restaurant proudly offers a 100% vegan menu alongside traditional options, prepared in separate kitchens to avoid cross-contamination. The menu is straightforward, presented on a single laminated sheet.
The vegan food is flavorful and juicy. Specific dishes mentioned include the corn beef special, Jamaican oxtails over jasmine rice, mushroom disco fries, Sweet Cheezus French toast, short rib cheesesteak, seitan wings, Shrimp Po Boy, and party grits. The truffle buffalo wings were delish, and the fresh-pressed juices are remarkable and carry a distinct charm. All desserts, including cakes, brownies, and cookies, are vegan. The coleslaw was outstanding, and the party grits are something special. The vibes are immaculate, and the staff is kind, friendly, and helpful. Customers drive 30 minutes to come here and always come through if passing within half an hour. The food is always on point, and the overall vibe is laid back with great playlists.
