Good food, friendly atmosphere.

I was not expecting Island music with the owners to be a mix. Total culture mix. However, there was a live band,l and great drinks. Menu could be expanded and soups were served in take out cups.

I had such a good time with my friends and my kid. Food was delicious, my kid had fun with the game on table. The service was good, and the food was really fast. I’ll come back 😉☺️

The seafood tastes like they just threw it in the pot out of a bag. I know a fresh taste in food when it’s there. The food is also too salty. The COOKED seafood smells bad like the bad seafood smell when it’s rotten. Never again , my sister said she never comes here on her own but always an invite and she never orders seafood. She said order wings and fries and you can’t go wrong , I said but it’s a seafood restaurant. Nice atmosphere with a live jazz band but the food was horrible and salty.

I visited Hook & Reel last night, the place was very nice, the music was nice, the servers were extremely nice and very friendly. They had all the tvs on, some with the 76ers game and others with the news
Dominique, our server was very professional and attentive to us and our needs.
Richard, the manager came over to introduce himself and to see how the dining experience was and to inform me of the upcoming events for Christmas and Thanksgiving.
The food came out…I ordered a Seafood Boil with Dungeness..They were meaty and seasoned well, the potatoes, corn and broccoli was well seasoned.
It was and Overall GREAT DINING EXPERIENCE!!

Waited 20+ minutes for service before leaving. Employees had time to socialize behind the counter but not to greet my family or take our order.

The waitress gave me the final check that they automatically add a tip but then they purposely added extra charges after I gave them my credit card.

My daughter my 2yo granddaughter and me went to the cheltenham Hook and reel we were sat and shortly a woman came to take our order she was extremely unprofessional and rude her vocabulary was not of one of a customer service professional . We said that we would wait we weren’t quite ready to order she left another server came to the table her name was Dominik she was very friendly and professional we asked to speak to a manager and low and behold the woman came over that was initally rude and said she was the manager . I told her she was very rude her reply “well I’m sorry you feel that way . Your waitress will be over shortly and walked away !! I’m very disappointed that Hook and reel would accept this behavior from your staff in a customer service establishment unfortunately ,I will not recommend Hook and reel in cheltenham to any of my colleagues . This incident occurred on Sunday Nov 3,2024 @around 4:30 pm . The EAGLES were playing and we were very excited . If it wasn’t for the new server server that took over our table Dominik we were walking out but Dominik was a breath of fresh air that’s the only reason we stayed .

On 10/31/24 at approximately 4 o’clock, me and my husband decided to go to Hook and Reel in Cheltenham, we was approached by the rudest bartender I ever came across in my life. She was very disrespectful. She was rude and she was very unprofessional. I recommend no one goes to Hook and Reel on Thursdays because that is her day, when we went and approached the manager about her behavior and how we was mistreated by her, he was very nonchalant about the situation and how me and my husband were being treated. I really do not appreciate how we were treated today and I am shocked. I know it’s Halloween, and She was so rude. I had to ask the girl was she in character. I really think Hook and Reel need to stop letting their employees drink on the job.

Today, Me & my wife was waiting to be served & The bartender was very very very unprofessional, I don’t know her name, But all i know is that she have long braids, We got there at 4:00 & her attitude was horrible.

First things first , I ordered a crab leg boil and it was delicious ! The crab meat was so meaty and juicy. My night was ruined when I arrived home and noticed my Tiffany bracelet was missing from my wrist ! I called hook and reel on the phone and spoke to the mgr Richard , he reassured me if I lost it there he would call me . Well he called the next day to say my bracelet had been found! I was so excited!! I appreciated Hook and Reel staffs honesty and their wonderful Manager. It’s great to know that honesty still exist .

Customer service on 3 separate occasions very satisfactory. Management very personable and great experience overall.

Parking: Restaurant is located inside busy Strip Mall so parking lot can be busy depending on time of day you are there.
