A nice place for a quick morning beverage and bagels. We stopped in for 3 cinnamon raisin bagels, ordered litely spread cream cheese on the bagel for our toddler, regular amount for my wife and I. As I waited, I was watching as our bagels were sliced, put into the toaster, then had the cream cheese added. The bagels came to us burnt on the edges.I could have ordered them litely toasted and this would have been remedied, other than that, our cream cheese cinnamon raisin bagels were enjoyed. Thanks for our late morning snack. The staff were pleasant and friendly, so stop by when you are in the area, The shop has plenty of choices from bagels to other food items, along with hot and cold morning breakfast drinks.Come in you can eat here or get it to go.See you soon.

Hadn’t been to this place in a few months ordered 1/2 dozen bagels and one tube of strawberry cream cheese. The price was exuberant. It was a total of $24 plus some change. I couldn’t believe it, but purchase anyway. Got home started to prepare the bagels and noticed that they were hard as a rock and stale. I was totally disappointed and don’t think I will ever Purchase from there again. Are they under new ownership?

A bit on the pricier side, but VERY tasty. I appreciate a place that knows how to make a good bagel - all the chain places make bagels where you're basically biting into a loaf of bread, but The Bagel House has a good, ol' fashioned water bagel, leaving them with a tasty, soft center and the perfect crispy crunch on the outside when toasted (perfection!).They have a large variety of flavors for bagels and cream cheese spreads, and a fun rainbow bagel which I got for my 1.5 year old. Wrap was good, bagel sandwhich was good, breakfast sandwich was good, and they even were happy to fulfill my "weird" bagel order (chocolate chip bagel with chive cream cheese and raw onions).Staff was friendly and kind, and our large order was prepared quickly. There isnt any indoor seating but we used the outdoor tables provided which was a nice change. It's not in an obvious location (below a house around the side) but follow the GPS and you'll see their outdoor sign which leads you to a driveway with a sign directing you for parking.I'll definitely be back. My son and his father enjoyed their food too. Thanks for a great lunch!!

Great food and service. The sandwiches are delicious. They open very early so you can get your bagel fix on your way to work or school.

Most expensive salmon lox bagel I’ve ever bought! $16.99. And the worst I’ve ever had. Threw it away I couldn’t eat it.

$25 for a half dozen bagels and small tub of cream cheese. Absolutely insane.

Excellent service and delicious bagels! I placed a large order, it was ready when I arrived and the bagels were fresh and warm. The staff even helped me carry the order to my car! Cannot say enough great things!

This was my first time here because I wanted to try a new local bagel shop. The customer service was phenomenal, they were super nice. I do wish the chocolate chip bagels had more chocolate chips, but overall the bagels were good. For a half dozen bagels and a bagel and cream cheese, $20 did seem pretty high, though. I would return. Also, definitely note that there is some outdoor seating, but it is mostly a place that you take home as opposed to sit in and eat

I get that prices are up everywhere, but holy Toledo, $4.25 for a coffee!? Not coming back. Bagel was acceptable.

Not disputing the taste of the bagels or lox Sammie I had it's the pricing that killed me 50 bucks and some change for a dozen plus one to create their bakers special of 13 instead of 12 a whopping 23 for those 16 and some Change open face lox Sammie that's cream cheese Nova Salmon red onion tomato capers on an everything bagel no chips no pickle just the Sammie for 16 plus change and a small half pint container of Walnut raisin cream cheese a whopping 8 and change grand total 50 and some change I know the economy is really screwed up when such a American staple is so ridiculously priced worth a try yeah I guess once and a blue fix there are other bagelries that are cheaper out there if you're willing to travel to them this just happened to be on the radar to my proximity of a mile and a half as opposed to the travel from Philly to Jenkintown to Fill a bagel or to Willow Grove Pa. Manhattan Bagel but after the price gouge I think next time I will take that trip I believe I paid around 15 and change for a dozen like 5 or 6 dollars max for the greater assortment of cream cheese and a cheaper Sammie like about 6 months ago (yeah I don't bagel shop that often lol)

Making an educated guess, but I imagine this place is not doing so great. Prior to the pandemic their prices were decent—maybe slightly elevated compared to the rest of the area. But as of late, The Bagel House is rapidly and dramatically altering their prices and it's making it difficult to support them. When a simple bacon+egg+cheese cost more than working over a hour of this state's minimum wage is huge issue. Not talking about a full breakfast plate, like just a egg sandwhich. To complete your breakfast with a coffee, harsh brown, or a water is going to push your quick breakfast over $20, easily. As others pointed out, it's not a bad sandwich but it really isn't anything to preach about. Good bagel, single slice of processed American cheese, and one wimpy slice of porkroll or low quality bacon is disappointing. At that point you are better off getting a quick meal at Fairlane across the street. Listen TBH, the neighborhood wants to support you but price/quality is just not approachable. The Bagel House also seems to be consistently hiring or looking for additional help, so I imagine they have a difficult time keeping employees on staff (due to low salary). There is no labor shortage, just employers not willing to provide living wages to staff members. Speaking of staff, I will say the folks I have interacted with at TBH are always friendly, which is why I am going into this much detail. I want them to succeed.LISTEN BAGLE PEOPLE!• Reevaluate your prices to meet breakfast standards• Make a simple website with accurate prices• Work towards making better quality foods and not depend on super processed meats and cheeses• Actually attempt to market yourself in the area(Attend local festivals, take your foodtruck out on the road)• Spend time building up loyalty---give the newbie customer a bonus bagel or something to leave them with a good impressionSincerely,Cheddar Goblin
