Her cakes are beautiful and delicious. And she was a pleasure to work with in understanding what I wanted.
Amazing service. Delicious cakes!!
The cake was amazing and Sarah was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. I highly recommend!
I was excited to see on FB that they offered Gluten Free options. I recently got diagnosed with Celiac Disease and was super happy to find this bakery (I have a major sweet tooth). Upon my arrival there was only one worker and she was checking out the customers in front of me. I understand that there is a staffing shortage and have absolutely no problem waiting to be served. I waited next in line for about 8 to 10 minutes. For most of the time waiting I was the only person next in line. Closer to the 8 minute mark another customer walks in. Once the worker was done with the people in front of me she starts to serve the customer behind me! I couldn't believe it. So for me that was strike 1. Once she got to me the first words out of my mouth were "I have a gluten allergy I will need you to change your gloves". We walk to the gluten free cabinet and I told her what I wanted. She then proceeds to reach in with the same gloves she used to serve the previous customer. I had to stop her and remind her to change her gloves. Her comment was "oh I forgot". For me this was strike 2. Staff needs to be extra careful and mindful when dealing with gluten free options. Don't assume it's a diet choice. Upon tasting it, the strawberry doughnuts were good. the chocolate pound cake was horrible. The serving size is a rip off for the price. Strike 3 in my opinion. Positive things about this visit: gluten free foods were in its own container. Negative things: being skipped over, glove issue, and serving size for the money. I will not be a returning customer.
I ordered a red velvet cake for my son's birthday. It was a big hit with our group. It tasted like the one my grandmother used to make! I will never buy a cake from a grocery store. Sarah's cakes are incredible!
Well, I haven't eaten here yet, but wanted to share my story with Sarah to just let you know how incredibly kind your girls are! We brought our little dog with us to the Food Truck event at the beginning of May and I am a horrible dog Mom and forgot her water bowl. I walked into your store, which seemed to be the only store front open that day, said hello to your girls and explained what I was there for and without hesitation, your older daughter went and got me a cup of water for our dog Zoey. I can not wait to come back for lunch or a sweet. Everything looked delicious. The shop is so cute, peaceful and just somewhere I can't wait to go back into and spend some time and enjoy a meal at!
