“The food is amazing - it would be 5 star if it was non-vegan then when you remember that what you just bit into has great texture and flavor and none of the saturated animal fats - you want to give it a 6 star ”
“The most amazing cookies! This store is clean, the staff provide quick service, and of course, the cookies are absolutely delectable. So far, I have tried the blueberry muffin, chocolate chip, wedding cake, brownie sundae, and Kentucky butter cake. I plan to go back on a weekly basis for their specialty flavors. All in all, I recommend this location to pick up a sweet treat and smile!”
“I was with some new friends where at least one of them had been here before. Apparently this place used to be more breakfast straightforward. Now they offer more options and the sweet options didn't work for those friends. The lucky charms latte was too sweet for my 2 friends and I didn't try it cause I am just not like that w them yet. It is probably something I would drink but I think it is good for me to start focusing on other options more. The blueberry lemonade I had was refreshing. I couldn't sense the lavender but it seemed an appropriate amount was put in. There were enough blueberries and the lemon helped for a nice touch. My wild mushroom toast was flavorful and reasonably healthy with the multi grain bread and greens. The chicken and waffles sounded like it hit the spot and didn't hear anything good or bad about the other toast entree. The staff is as attentive as possible with such a busy crowd for a Sunday morning. I see why people like this spot. I wouldn't mind this spot again but it is not a personal fave for me.”
“Almost didn't want to review because the secret would then get out. Very low key place, sparsely decorated yet comfortable, far from crowded. But the food is oh so delicious. Fresh ingredients, expertly prepared, flavors galore. Friendly service as well. No longer need to go into the city for good Thai food. Go now before it blows up and you can't get a table.”
“The reason for the missing star is, it was not the traditional meal. My daughter is fussy and accustomed to the thick egg noodles. The service was great, the food was fresh. Yet, we would go back, we would order different food. We Enjoyed the veggie spring rolls, and calamari. The Sesame chicken was not what my partner expected, he would order something new, next time.Fyi: no reservations are accepted for parties less than 6.”
“Very friendly staff. I remember stopping off here once, before the pandemic, during Christmas season, and it was very cozy and warm inside, and the music selection was upbeat and jovial. Stopped off again, during the pandemic, and it was nice and clean, the music wasn't obnoxiously loud (like some locations), and it was a nice time. Bathroom is clean. Nice spot.”
“I always look forward to the samosas ?? It's the mango, tamarind & verde sauce too! So, delicious ?Vegetarian options: We always have a good foodie experience ? They have a delightful selection for vegetarians!!Parking: Plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Yes, children are welcome.”
“Great service! This location is clean and offers ample space for enjoying a beverage or bakery treat. They offered my pup a sweet treat on the house. Very fun experience!”
“This place has always been good. I like the people that work there and they never screw up their orders. Their Italian food is fantastic. From what I understand it was recently bought by someone else. The pasta sauce tasted different which I wasnt happy about but that's a small complaint.”
“First Watch is a chain; thus, their approach is the same: I personally ate breakfast in one in Greenville, Delaware.A very healthy breakfast:1. Hot oatmeal--seems to be new to the menu. lots of generously-sized raw fruit mixed throughout. Although some milk and raw sugar were supplied, the sweetner was not really needed.2. A healthy, cold, vegetable drink of kale was tasty, but with way too much ice--giving me, of course, less to drink.3. A delightfully-tasty grilled blueberry muffin was part of the mix.4. I was told I HAD to order FOUR pieces of bacon (I wanted two) . I declined to order it. Turns out they aceded to my request.5. My moderate breakfast came to $21.28 with a 20% tip--a little steep to me, but still very enjoyable!”
“It's such a cute, sweet smelling store. No, they don't have forks and napkins because it's for you to take with you, not make crumbs, and leave trash in the store. I'm in love with the pumpkin spice bundt cake. If you do a survey on the bottom of your receipt, you can get a free mini bundt when you purchase one. That way, you can try more flavors.”
“Delicious burgers and outstanding service. The young man who brought out our food was very friendly, was cleaning very thoroughly, and even came out to the parking lot to find my wife to return the retainer she had dropped when we left.”
“Some of the reviews mention dude service. But, they say the food is really good. After trying this place out, it's one of the best Chinese places I have been to. The food was really good albeit pricier than the place I go in south Philly. The staff is the nicest staff at this caliber of restaurant I ever encountered. Always take people that fry waycism with a grain of salt. I will certainly come here again as this is now my favorite Chinese restaurant. I just wish it were closer to me ?”
“Usually don't leave reviews but I must say this place is great. I really enjoyed the thin crust pizza more than I expected and the wings were a nice alternative to deep fried. Would recommend to everyone. Try the new stromboli as well!”
“I introduced a friend to Honeygrow, and they were equally impressed with the delectable tastes and flavors of the food. Try it ,I believe you'll like it !There is only one thing that I would improve on. That is the ordering part on the computer screen for OG 's like myself. I found it a bit complex, and I usually make mistakes .Oh well, for getting younger !!!!GROW ON HONEY !!!!!!!”
“My daughter loves this place, and so do I. We've been coming to the Wynnewood location for years and will continue to. Yes, things have changed since Covid, but things are working towards the good. I find that a little kindness to staff enhances their kindness in return. A lot of the time, our youth are finding their way and just need a little nudge. I appreciate the service we receive and hope that the store and staff members will continue to grow.”
“The reason for my 5* rating is the people who work here, specifically the weekday morning crew. They are some of the friendliest, most patient people I've ever encountered. You can see that they enjoy working with the customers and each other and that creates a great atmosphere.”
“My husband and I love it here! The menu is ever changing and always has a great mix of approachable and creative dishes. Portions are large and we always have leftovers. The cheesesteak is maybe the best I have ever had, and I don’t usually go for them! It is somehow perfect for both a casual meal or a fancy date night- truly the best of both worlds.”
“Overall I enjoyed my experience at River Twice. Service and atmosphere were great. There were some amazing dishes (raw scallop first course and the oysters) but the rest of the food, while well-executed, did not wow me. For the price, I was expecting more.”
“Favorite speakeasy in Philly. No ability to make reservations though which is annoying. I would go more often if I knew I could make a reservation and not have a rude hostess say there’s a 2 hour wait. Go on a weekday.”
“Great food, friendly and accommodating staff. I come every time I have an out of town guest and I am never disappointed! Also appreciated how they made my mom's bday special with complementary champagne. Highly recommend!!”
“We had the best valentines dinner! The restaurant is cozy and intimate with amazing service; it was also awesome that we could BYOB! After some fluffy potato rolls, we split the buttery striped bass. The family style meal (complete with sides!) tasted like the perfect, elevated meal featuring humble PA ingredients. LOVED trying all the different pickles!! Thank you for a very special meal! We will be back for tea service :)”
“The food here is absolutely incredible. Just next level sushi that makes you not want to eat sushi from anywhere else. That RICE is just perfect. Also if you're lucky enough to snag a spot at the Omakase then you're in for a REAL treat. :)”
“Very small intimate space with the open kitchen directly on the floor. Had an incredible experience here! The staff was super friendly and bantered with us all night. The stand out to me was the scallop toast, it practically melts in your mouth. Though everything we had was excellent flavor and presentation wise. I will absolutely be back!”
“My favorite breakfast tacos in the world. Sublime flour tortillas, amazing flavor, kind staff, and a cheerful sunny space. Heaven is sitting outside of taco heart in the sunshine eating a BECA.”
“Double knot is probably the coolest restaurant in Philly. It’s got a speakeasy vibe. Hidden in the basement of Sampan, and the the food is fantastic. Prime date spot!”
“Hands down one of the best restaurants I've been to in a while. Food was 10 out of 10, drinks 10 out of 10 and service was prestige. Bartenders were knowledgeable on the food as well as recommending drinks. Everyone was having a good time. It may look expensive but you get a massive "app" platter, fresh pita, and dessert at the end. If you and one person just had two meat or veggie choices and no alcohol you'd pay under $100. We had the Salman Shishlik and the Koobideh. Can't rave enough, go check it out for yourself ! There's a reason why it's hard to get a reservation. If you're bar people, get there 15/20 minutes early. First come first serve”
“Ok...so first time at this restaurant. I have to say they knocked it out of the park. The cocktails were wonderful and the food is as authentic as it gets. I'm not an expert in Lebanese food but after doing the tasting menu ? I feel like I am. Three things: (1) make reservations (2) be very hungry because there is a lot of food and (3) bring $$$ because it's a pricey place to dine.Parking: Parking is an issue.”
“During our trip to Philadelphia we had lunch at this wonderful restaurant. The spring rolls, red curry and massaman curry were all delicious. And the prices are very friendly. Definitely ”
“The food and service was phenomenal, the food came out so fast and right after we finished with our appetizers our plates were replaced. The sushi was so fresh and the presentation was beautiful! So happy to have found this place!! Can’t wait to come ”
