4 of us had an early dinner. I have a garlic and onion allergy, the waitress was extremely helpful in making my food choices and told me that because I have an allergy, my food would have to be approved by management. A great policy. We ordered 3 desserts, they were all great!! But if you have a chance, order the chocolate bag with fruit and vanilla cream!! You won't regret it!!! The food was delicious and overall, our experience was excellent.

The food, well that i have a problem with, I can never eat it all. 😅 The food is cooked to perfection, served on plates to match the meal, hot on hot, cold(like desserts) on cold. Go hungry, but know that if you don't finish your food, boxes are available. I highly recommend everything on the menu. Personally, I'm partial to the fish and chips but my son loves the pasta bowl filled with shrimps. My husband loves the crab cakes. Just go. Don't take my word for it. Costal Grill is well worth every penny. Please, make sure to generously tip your server/s.

Here's a guy who knows how to run a restaurant! The food was very good. It is not a huge menu but there's something for everyone and everything is done well. The service was quick and efficient and I saw at least 2 managers on duty. They were bussing tables and keeping everything running smoothly. The prices were reasonable and everyone seemed to enjoy working there.

This evening my wife and I enjoyed an absolutely wonderful dinner at Coastal Grille. We're from out of town, we were looking for a nice fine dining seafood restaurant and we found just the perfect spot. We both enjoyed an absolutely wonderful Chilean sea bass dinner. For an appetizer we had the most amazing hot shrimp and lobster cheese dip served with tortilla chips. Our waitress Andie was excellent and very professional . She was very friendly and made the dinner a memorable occasion. I look forward to coming back and eating at this fine dining establishment every time I'm in Reading PA.

One star is to much, 3 years has a customer and yesterday got treat like trash , just because I ask for extra napkins, I got bar napkins to clean my hands while having the delicious sea food boil . Terrible Barmaids and Terrible Managers on Sunday afternoon. For 3 years I been a customer service was always good , a little slow when is busy, but that is understandable. Moral of the story they will not see a penny from me again. The Horst on this review is that the owner always answers all good reviews but not even apologized for the way we were treated . Very bad business on your part , shame on you .

If you want a delicious dinner, Coastal Grill is your spot. There were 3 of us that went, we had 2 appetizers, a shrimp and scallops dip, and coconut shrimp. De-licious. Our entrees were Shrimp and Scallops Alfredo, Salmon, and a Scallop and Shrimp Ziti in a spicy red sauce. Large platters and service was excellent. Make Reservations to cut down the wait. Our wait was about 30 minutes without a reservation. You will enjoy!!! The noise was quite good for how full the restaurant was, not a proble.

Had lunch at Coastal Grill, I ordered crab dip for a app which was runny to me for a dip at 18.00...I ordered the Coastal cheeseburger with fries, the beef patty was tasty the lettuce was shredded (yuk) the tomato thinly sliced the onion (my favorite on a burger) was diced into tiny cubes ( not onion rings) and the yellow cheese was sliced very thin the French fries were shoestrings...If I'm going to pay 15.00 dollars for a burger I want top condiments on my burger...please don't skimp or lower your prices

Fried calamari was delicately fried- excellent appetizer had the seafood Alfredo which was excellent as well - plenty of shrimp and sauce with delicate pasta not the traditional fettuccine noodle. The lobster bisque was perfect. Not too thick.. not too thin with full chunks of lobster.
