“We have lived in Reading for 3 years. We were especially surprised with the sheer quality and authenticity in their food. Our go to is the Seafood Noodle Soup with Chicken Wings and Crab Rangoon. The soup is incredibly clean and the portion is so plentiful. Their wings are probably the best Chinese restaurant wings I've had. The wings have this distinct flavors and crunch where other restaurants won't cut it. The crab rangoons are so good and have little to no grease. I sometimes ordered beef chow fun whenever I went for just myself before working a 2nd shift and it's also extremely good and authentic. The staff is really nice and are courteous to guests. We came back to visit reading for the weekend after a year. I can say that the quality has not diminished in the slightest. Please give them a try!”

“Food was delicious! The waitress was fantastic! I got the spinach and chicken enchiladas with Spanish rice. The chicken was so tender and everything was so filling and yummy, I left with big smiles! Not just because of the strawberry margaritas! Which was also very good!Parking: Handicap parking have nice spaces, wide enough if you need it for accessible space for wheelchair or walker.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily can use sidewalk to door. Door is not automatic that I noticed.”

“Been twice. It’s a good steak but truly nothing memorable for me. I like the ambience a lot, but maybe a little too dark? Great decor though. The service is very good. I’ve had a sirloin and a NY strip- definitely preferred the strip. It was a good experience”

“We asked our server to please put fresh lettuce on the salad bar, and he did. I personally dont care for whatever the meat is on the salad bar... I don't think it's ham! We were kindly moved to another booth when the gentleman next to our first booth became ill.”

“Should have left this review sooner, but Easter got in the way;) Ordered a Sicilian with xchz & pep, order of fries and hot wings. Didn't realize they closed at 8PM, I had called at 7:35. They said 'no prob!'. I was the last order of the night. They were cleaning up when I arrived and were super welcoming. Tony still had the pie in the oven. I've eaten many Sicilians and Grandmother pies from Bella's over the years. Never did I have a bad pie. This one was no exception. It was beyond delicious. I know people from outside of Berks that make it a point to eat here when they're in the area on business. Always well worth the visit!!! Kudos to the entire staff.”

“My family and i visited this location after a long difficult day at a local hospital and were greeted with one of the best servers in the industry. Brandee took such great care of our family and in spite of a few minor kitchen mistakes, we could overlook it because we had such outstanding service! Great job, Brandee!”

“Food is good but not the best... It's a little pricey however they have great service and the bartenders are wonderful. They have a really nice rental space too in the back for parties which is nice. Atmosphere 10 out of 10 for sure.”

“So far I have visited two different Mission BBQ locations, and Wyomissing is my favorite one yet. I give 4 out of 5 stars based on my own personal preferences. The atmosphere of the restaurant is by design, and I just don’t vibe to it. With that said I almost always get my food to go. I place my orders inside the restaurant so I can see my food when the staff presents it for visual inspection. It’s obvious they care about customer satisfaction. I once attended a wedding that was catered by the Wyomissing Mission BBQ and the food and service was fantastic! Lots of great tasting food that evening. I prefer the beef brisket sandwich with smoky mountain bbq sauce. The Mac and cheese is good. The cornbread is decent if I slather butter on it. I have sampled much of their menu at the wedding, however I tend to order the same thing every time I visit. The flavor, overall quality and texture of the beef brisket is pretty consistent. The portions I receive are sometimes smaller / bigger than before, but even so I never thought my portions were undersized. The staff aren’t supercharged with welcoming energy, but then again I don’t expect them to be. They are just regular people being honest, friendly, helpful and attentive. Mission BBQ does good with what matters in a BBQ joint. They are inspired by Deep South smoky bbq, but aren’t quite as good because Mission BBQ is a chain restaurant. They are expected to have everything meet a particular standard of consistency. Some people love it that way, and others wish for something more exciting. When I go to Mission BBQ I always get what I expect, no more and no less. I would like to see new styles of bbq sauce made available. As previously mentioned I am a big fan of the smoky mountain sauce. Unfortunately I cannot speak on the quality of their ribs because I haven’t tried them yet. I would enjoy sampling the ribs sometime in the near future, and reviewing them!”

“Today, I appreciated the opportunity to eat at the cafe,but my first experience of eating “Gourmand cafe” food was from having it catered at a work event . I appreciate the colorfulness and explosion of flavors. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality food for the price point. I have had their burgers, fries(much of speciality fries),southwest blacked chicken salad and they have some of the best homemade chips(for catered events). They have a-welcoming cafe atmosphere with a wide selection on the menu. Friendly,accommodating staff and portion sizes are plentiful. Vegan,GF,V options available.”
