The people make this place. The owner is personable and makes amazing sushi! The grill and wok food is also amazing and never disappoints. The little bit of wait for food to come out is well worth it for this wonderful restaurant

Is this really 5, star? NO. But, when I dined, I was the only customer with one on one service by the sushi chef, Lee. I enjoyed my sake accompanied by hot Miso soup. It was enjoyable sitting at the sushi bar talking to Lee as he was preparing my sashimi. Everything was super fresh! Service was great in an OK atmosphere. This has been my favorite place for over 3 years! Whether I’m in the mood for the tried and true sesame chicken, fresh sushi, or to try something new, mikura never disappoints. Big bonus points because the owner is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. I hate to give my money to any other Asian cuisine restaurant! Also, the sushi love boat is gorgeous and well worth it
