Recently my husband and I thought we'd get pizza. Previously we've had great experiences with Mod Pizza. Our original Mod pizza closed so we decided to go to the new Wyomissing one. Well I have a gluten allergy and I was told they could not accommodate me. Why have gluten free crusts if you can't clean the oven. The attitude was the worst. Doubt I'll go back but I sure do miss being able to go out for pizza.
Dietary restrictions: They don't help you at this store.

The pizza was good, they have a great selection of toppings, different sauces ect, but the worker putting mine together was very hesitant about adding more cheese. I like a lot of cheese on my pizza. The man who was working the pizza oven pulled the pizza off the trays with his bare hands, no gloves.
I don't care for the vibe the place gives, very hipster and industrial, not my style at all but I would go back because I like pizza

The wait time was a bit long, which is understandable given the high demand for freshly made brick oven pizzas. However, the exceptional service and inviting atmosphere more than made up for it. The pizza is consistently excellent—just be mindful of your topping choices. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot that I highly recommend. Definitely worth a visit for a delicious bite.
Dietary restrictions: They had dairy free cheese and other options which is always a plus!

I feel like mod is the place you go for the ambiance/ vibe overall... But food is just ok. Might go to mod 3 times a year if that.... Hopefully this location doesn't get shut down with the 40 other locations in the country.

Mod Pizza is a great place to get custom pizza. The topping selection is better than any local pizza shop you can find. One of my favs is roasted garlic. So good!
They also have different crust options and tons of base sauces and topping sauces. There's so many combinations that are possible.
They also have lots of options for vegetarians and vegans including dairy-free cheese and plant based sausage for no additional cost which is very rare for pizza shops.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Our pizza was delicious.

Never got a pizza that wasn't great from there. It was quick and easy

Taste of food wasn’t that great
Pizza is to expensive. I can go to other pizza places and get a large pizza cheaper than their medium pizza. And the pizza is not that good for the price. Rip off

I don't understand this place at all. It's yet another fast-food pizza franchise in a world absolutely swimming in pizza restaurants, both chain and non-chain.In the area I live in (Berks county) you can't drive more than a few miles without seeing a pizza shop on a corner or in a strip mall somewhere. So what makes this new chain different or better? The pizza reminds me of Litter Caesar's in terms of quality. They're small pies with mediocre, flavorless crust. I guess they have a lot of toppings choices but most pizza shops offer something for everyone already, so this is hardly a revelation or an innovation. The customer service is so-so. They seem to be hiring to match a certain demographic... think "hipster" or "hippie". The vibe and the music seems to be designed to match that tone as well. Which would be fine in, say, San Francisco, in the 1960s, but in 2024 nation-wide, especially in a blue-collar county like Berks? It just makes me feel uncomfortable.Honestly, this just looks like another cash-grab franchise concept brewed up in some Manhattan or San Francisco loft amongst a bunch of 20-something entrepeneurs. There's no soul or heart to this concept; it's just mediocre Little Caesar's pizza dressed up in hipster music and decor.

This is a "newer" place to our area and it has been great the handful of times we've had it. As a family of four, usually one of us gets a salad, and the rest get pizzas. We've only ever gotten ours to go. It's very open and clean inside. The pizzas have been good- the kids usually get plain cheese- we usually get more creative. I also appreciate that they've been great about doing community days- where a portion of the sales go back to the organization. Thank you!
