The Chilean Sea Bass usually melts in your mouth like butter. Not tonight! It was tough…needed a knife to cut. Not good at all! Not only did we share this with the waitress, but the manager was rounding so we let her know. My wife ate maybe 10% of it. The waitress and manager offered her dessert but she didn’t want dessert. The bill came and there was no discount, not even a free drink. So, they serve a crappy piece of fish and think it’s ok to charge $47 for it even though it was sent back barely touched. Sadly, we won’t be back there for a while.

Disappointed. Been here many times over the last few years and always enjoyed our meal and service. Have ordered the Chilean Sea Bass on quite a few of those occasions and experienced a delectable, buttery fish, as would be expected in a fine dining restaurant with quality fish. Tonight I needed a knife to cut it. Very disappointed. Told my husband they must have a new chef. Told our waitress and the manager, in a very polite way after being asked if we enjoyed our meal and telling them I did not want to take home the 2/3 remaining portion. Further disappointment ensued. After being asked if she could provide me a dessert on her, and responding “no, thank you” because I am watching my sugar intake, there was no other compensation offered. She did ask me what I had to drink, so she could compensate that, but it remained on my bill. This establishment considers itself fine dining. I used to consider it fine dining. I do not any longer. What a shame, because fine dining is certainly seeming to become obsolete. She did mention a new chef, so we called that right. They are opening a restaurant across the street as well. Had been looking forward to trying it, but not now. Hoping my constructive feedback to them, when solicited, will effect improvement for them.

First time visit, with a total group of 12 with friends. Atmosphere was perfect, service was prompt and attentive throughout our three hours there, and food was great all around. NY strip, filet, salmon, lobster ravioli, all great and well-portioned. Definitely recommend and I am planning to make this a regular stop.

In town with my wife attending the Berks Jazz Fest. Stopped in Friday night (03/31) before the show. Had the calamari & oysters apps. - Excellent. We both had the Filet for the main course. Cooked to perfection. Excellent Wine selection. Enjoyed the meal so much, we made reservations for Saturday. We both had the Tuna and again it was EXCELLENT. As an additional note, Tonya was our waitress both evenings. She knows her craft. Can't wait until 2024.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary. The staff was very friendly and professional. Our entrees were excellent. I ordered the rack of lamb and my wife ordered the chicken Normandy. Although, I requested a bottle of champagne at the table. They called and confirmed, but when we showed up… no champagne. The bathrooms were very dirty. The dessert was not good at all. My wife said she would have taken the Applebees lava cake over theirs. I ordered the crème brûlée. There was way too much sugar on top. They didn’t melt all the sugar down, and the places that they did, were burnt.

Good White Sangrias, in generous sized glasses. Food was good. Ordered Lamb Lollipops and Fillet Crostini. The appetizers were the stars of the night. For dinner we ordered the Kobe Wagyu Tomahawk steak and extra Lobster Tail. For some reason I got two small tails, which I thought was kind of odd. The Lobster was okay. Steak was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Not sure I’d pay $96 for it again. Substituted asparagus for Brussel sprouts. Delicious. My wife ordered the Frenched Chicken. Tasted fine. I think they could come up with a better option though for chicken for their menu. Dessert was lava cake. Overall, it was our first time here so we splurged. But I don’t think I’d return because of the steep prices.

Six of us enjoyed dinner there on New Year's Eve. Food was outstanding and service was great. Can't wait to go again.

3rd visit (once before pandemic, twice since) earns this place well-deserved & long overdue 5- star review. Never had a bad drink here. Thank God someone understands the importance of a proper buzz off a still well-balanced cocktail. (This is a great place to drink) Always enjoy the cozy round booth & elegant lighting. Shrimp cocktail appetizer- 4 huge shrimp hover above perfectly spiced cocktail sauce. Filets are a standout! I favor the Kona coffee rub. Lobster- add a decent small tail for $12, no brainer, do it! Comes with delicious measuring cup of melted butter & fresh lemon wedge. Bread seems an insignificant thing, but it’s important it’s good, and it is. Basket of herby & olive rolls w/ salted wedge of butter (good butter, so key). Sides are simple yet satisfying. Jazmine, Jazmine, Jazmine- I run this girl ragged w/ all my extras. She delivers every time. Nice job! Kudos to Chef- I always make my presence known & feel he always does a little something special for me. It is appreciated & keeps us coming back! Some menu items are better than others- this isn’t Vegas, but overall they do a fantastic job for a reasonable price. Anyone who thinks not should refresh themselves on what a steak is costing these days at Giant. Never get away cheap, but already spent equal $ at local hotspot only to find myself chewing on chicken tenders & brown bread.

We have dined at Willoughby's many times and in general have had good experiences. Our last visit was very disappointing!!. Service was awful as we waited forever throughout the evening, the prices have become out of sight and the portion control for drinks was really silly. When you pay almost $20 for a cocktail, you expect more than a shot glass sized drink. Not sure if we will return anytime soon as they appear to have lost there way!! PS we are not "cheap" in anyway so if we think it is overpriced, it is really pricey.

Very good food, flawless wait staff, and an overall very good experience. We had a few app's instead of a main course to try some different dishes. The Wedge salads was excellent. The Lobster Bisque was very good. The Lamb Lollipops were very good as well and cooked perfectly for doneness level as per our request. We enjoyed every dish. Would I go back to this place. You can count on it.

Willoughby's is getting one star for four reasons: 1) The bread was good. 2) The service from Christopher was good. 3) The cocktails were good. 4) TripAdvisor doesn't allow zero stars. We came tonight for the first time to celebrate Valentine's Day. We wanted to share our first Tomahawk steak, the reviews were good, so we gave it a shot. Terrible mistake, dreadful evening. Appetizers: Lobster thermidor-- had NO lobster, had a pile of unseasoned arugula heaped on the plate for some reason, was a tiny dish and way overpriced for what it delivered. However, since it was of the Tomahawk special (Tomahawk for two, one app, 2 salads, one dessert), we got it, and an additional bowl of lobster bisque. Soup was very thin, but otherwise passable. SIDE NOTE: If you're offering a COUPLES dinner, why only ONE appetizer?? We couldn't have shared that if we were both starving. Salad: We both had the grilled Caesar, which was essentially giant Romaine leaves (some of which did pick up the 'grill flavor' and tasted burnt), some too-thick shavings of Parmesan, about a quart of some weird non-Caesar brown dressing, a small limp white anchovy, and a small slice of a crostini-like bread (which I guess we were supposed to cut apart ourselves into croutons...? It was unseasoned.). The dressing was awful, but it didn't actually TASTE like anything associated with Caesar. It was a complete miss and frankly a waste. Tomahawk: Here's the main problem. Steak arrives OFF the bone, and sliced, then put back together to look as though it was still a single steak. So there was NO reason for the bone to be on the table... that aside, if the chef cut apart the steak, HOW DID HE MISS THE FACT THAT IT WAS BLUE???? It was charred on the outside and raw everywhere else. Inedible. A $120 (supposedly) Kobe beef Tomahawk that you let out of your kitchen while it was still MOOING. To make matters worse, we call Christopher over, show him, and he sends it back to the kitchen, along with the green beans almondine and smashed Yukon potatoes. We wait a short time, and the manager brings us our food from the kitchen (not the server). Not only does the food look exactly the same as we assembled it on the plate, but it's COLD TO THE TOUCH -- no way this steak has seen any grill or oven while in the chef's care. The manager, who didn't see the condition it was brought to the kitchen, asked if it was ready and was told yes, so she brought it out... now it's raw and COLD. Now we're angry, because we have to send it back yet again, but this time through the gatekeeper manager who thinks its her job to defend the poor job of those who came before... leading to a small verbal altercation with my wife (who admirably restrained herself). We demanded that the steak go back and get re-cooked they it should've been the first AND second times it was in the chef's hands. Manager brings out the third steak with was at least WARM to the touch, unlike last time; this steak's at least seen some HEAT recently, out hopes were up... only to dashed yet again by the BLUE steak they serving us YET AGAIN. Along with a condescending attitude from the clever manager who felt she was entitled because she was right. She was NEITHER intelligent NOR correct and now, you have vocally angry customers that -- due to the lack of any background music in the place -- all the other guests can hear. She brought out fresh sides of potatoes (hard, cold, oversalted) and green beans (swimming in oil that reeked of fish). In the kitchen's rush to get another order of veg out the door, they hurriedly cooked them in a used pan. Inedible. We tried. We were so angry, disappointed, and disgusted, we didn't bother taking anything home. We just wanted to leave. When the check arrived, the manager was kind enough to comp a cocktail from our bill... as though THAT was going to fix anything??? She even said, at one point, "I am here to solve a problem." We waited eagerly for her to do so... it's hours later, we&a

Owners George & Elenny Zeppos have gone out of their way to bring fine dining to Berks County. The quality of the food, the presentation, the service, and the over all experience makes Willoughby's on Park a TOP choice for fine dining. The crab cake is one of my favorite's and the steaks are superb.
