The Original Mama's Pizza and Grill Wyomissing

My cheesesteak was gray in color and the cheese tasted like it had gone bad. When I called the store, the manager asked me to text him a picture to show the staff. I found that to be very unprofessional.

Been seeing videos on Instagram and Youtube and had to try it. The Ricotta and Honey slice was excellent. And the stuffed pizza!

I also got a buffalo chicken cheesesteak wrap. Meat cooked well. My only complaint was I wasn't a fan of the hotsauce they use but honestly, the quality of the rest made up for it.

Can't wait to come back and try more.

I was in Shillington for a softball tournament and Mama's Pizza was recommended by a friend. We stopped to get take out for dinner. We were gonna just get pizza but their cheese steak subs looked delicious. They did not disappoint! Pizza was perfect, good crispy, crunchy crust and plenty of cheesy goodness. The cheese steak subs were delicious too, comparable to some of the Philly cheese steak places I've been.

I order a cheesesteak and it became nasty. It was greasy an order a Ketchup and no cheese that I asked for to put on they horrible. I don’t like how they make the cheesesteak..

The food was really good the service was great and quick. The aesthetic of the place is really warm and welcoming they deliver the food to your table if you eat in. I would recommend coming to this mamas pizza on state hill

The lady that worked there her name starts with a J was really nice, had a great sense of humor she tended to us and we were very pleased pizzaaaa was amazing so very yummy to our tummy!

The food at this place was AMAZING! I ordered a plain cheese slice and seasoned fries, and they came out very fast. The staff were really kind too. Definitely try it out if you are close by! We will come back often.

The pizza is really good and the chef is really friendly and welcoming even though we ordered out pizza late at night was and delicious and tasted pretty solid reheated. Will be coming back

Sad to leave this review. Have been a customer of this location for 20 years (under previous owners as Primo as well). My husband ordered lunch for my coworkers and I as a recognition for Nurses Day. When the food hadn’t arrived we called the shop and were told the food was left 40 minutes ago at the security desk of the hospital yet neither of us received a call. At that time we were told by security that there was a delivery downstairs. When I went to retrieve the order, the security guards and the elderly hospital volunteer told me to check the order. The delivery person “threw” it in the table and ran out angry and mumbling about not getting a tip. The pizza was cold and cheese on the top of the box - cupcakes were smooshed. I called back to talk to the manager who proceeded to argue with me, minimize my concerns and say there was no way he believed what I was saying. Argued that the guards must have done something to the order, that I couldn’t be a customer for 20 years because they haven’t been there that long (although I did specify that I couldn’t remember exactly when the shop changed hands but I’ve been there for 20 years) and that I was being rude because I had a tone and may have used an inappropriate word or two once he started arguing with me. Essentially not caring what I, as a long time customer had to say. Admittedly I was a bit upset during the conversation as my concerns were dismissed from jump but as a manager I would expect a bit more understanding when a customer is that unhappy- regardless if there were two sides to a story. Especially a customer who orders from there at least 1x/wk or more for as long as they have been open and for all major functions I have at the hospital and in my personal life. I am actually heartbroken but I can not continue to use a business that treats their customers so poorly.
EDIT TO ADD: I did not call screaming and cursing- I called and literally said please take this with a grain of salt from a long time customer because I am upset with how I received my order. I said what I was told by security and the hospital volunteer and the nature of the food being cold and smashed. There were no little white things in the boxes and the cupcakes were also smashed on the side. Your reaction was not I’m sorry to hear that it was not a good experience but NOPE YOU ARE WRONG - this didn’t happen. L and “we haven’t been here for 20 years” despite my explanation that I have been coming to that location for that long so essentially since you opened your doors…That’s when I got angry. I am well aware of hospital policy of not allowing people to deliver to the floors BUT I am also well aware that the phone at my desk absolutely did not ring at all in the allotted time frame. And while you can say that your employee would never, I am also quite certain that the 70ish year old hospital volunteer who ran over so concerned that the food may be damaged would also not be lying. I haven’t left a review over the past 20 years because I have never left a review anywhere for anything in my 50 years on this planet but was compelled to today based on how I was treated and how horrible you made me feel as a loyal customer. While I may not have left reviews in the past my word of mouth support of your shop has always been forthcoming as well as spending thousands of dollars at your store. Glad to see even now you will double down and not even attempt to acknowledge the customer’s experience.
