The Original Mama's Pizza and Grill Wyomissing

The pizza is really good and the chef is really friendly and welcoming even though we ordered out pizza late at night was and delicious and tasted pretty solid reheated. Will be coming back

Sad to leave this review. Have been a customer of this location for 20 years (under previous owners as Primo as well). My husband ordered lunch for my coworkers and I as a recognition for Nurses Day. When the food hadn’t arrived we called the shop and were told the food was left 40 minutes ago at the security desk of the hospital yet neither of us received a call. At that time we were told by security that there was a delivery downstairs. When I went to retrieve the order, the security guards and the elderly hospital volunteer told me to check the order. The delivery person “threw” it in the table and ran out angry and mumbling about not getting a tip. The pizza was cold and cheese on the top of the box - cupcakes were smooshed. I called back to talk to the manager who proceeded to argue with me, minimize my concerns and say there was no way he believed what I was saying. Argued that the guards must have done something to the order, that I couldn’t be a customer for 20 years because they haven’t been there that long (although I did specify that I couldn’t remember exactly when the shop changed hands but I’ve been there for 20 years) and that I was being rude because I had a tone and may have used an inappropriate word or two once he started arguing with me. Essentially not caring what I, as a long time customer had to say. Admittedly I was a bit upset during the conversation as my concerns were dismissed from jump but as a manager I would expect a bit more understanding when a customer is that unhappy- regardless if there were two sides to a story. Especially a customer who orders from there at least 1x/wk or more for as long as they have been open and for all major functions I have at the hospital and in my personal life. I am actually heartbroken but I can not continue to use a business that treats their customers so poorly.
EDIT TO ADD: I did not call screaming and cursing- I called and literally said please take this with a grain of salt from a long time customer because I am upset with how I received my order. I said what I was told by security and the hospital volunteer and the nature of the food being cold and smashed. There were no little white things in the boxes and the cupcakes were also smashed on the side. Your reaction was not I’m sorry to hear that it was not a good experience but NOPE YOU ARE WRONG - this didn’t happen. L and “we haven’t been here for 20 years” despite my explanation that I have been coming to that location for that long so essentially since you opened your doors…That’s when I got angry. I am well aware of hospital policy of not allowing people to deliver to the floors BUT I am also well aware that the phone at my desk absolutely did not ring at all in the allotted time frame. And while you can say that your employee would never, I am also quite certain that the 70ish year old hospital volunteer who ran over so concerned that the food may be damaged would also not be lying. I haven’t left a review over the past 20 years because I have never left a review anywhere for anything in my 50 years on this planet but was compelled to today based on how I was treated and how horrible you made me feel as a loyal customer. While I may not have left reviews in the past my word of mouth support of your shop has always been forthcoming as well as spending thousands of dollars at your store. Glad to see even now you will double down and not even attempt to acknowledge the customer’s experience.

Delicious pizza. Bring your appetite if you are having a sli e of their specialty pizza. I had garlic butter cheese stake slice. That was a meal in it's own! Delicious

I moved out the area but came back and stopped here. It was my go to pizza place when I lived here. It's never been a disappointment.

Great pizza, great food, great atmosphere. I’ve never had a problem any time I go here. Everyone is friendly and they always make sure to address you when you come in, even if they’re swamped!

Love this place! Excellent food, friendly, prompt service!!!!!!! From the pizza to meatballs parm subs to Stromboli to dinner of spagetti and meatballs, Excellent!!!!! So delicious!!!!

It is a very cramped environment to eat in. The pizza pie crust was flimsy and almost required a third hand to hold it up. Hoagies were exceptional. They did serve our To go order open to us with the meal. We had to have them take it back and package it. I'm not sure I would return anytime soon.

Took kids there one evening ..cheesesteaks aren’t their best offerings I suppose . Amateur hour

First time customer....ordered a calzone and onion rings. Calzone was delicious and packed with mozzarella and ricotta cheese. Onion rings were perfectly crispy. I would recommend this place to friends and family. Can't wait to try one one their subs. a definite thumbs up! 👍

Went 2 weeks ago for a cheese steak… terrible and today pepperoni pizza… again terrible…
Not sure what’s going on with these guys but food is too expensive to be wasting on low quality products now…
