Absolutely (another) wonderful evening with a wonderful staff!
Food, service, drinks and atmosphere were fantastic.
Thank you for another wonderful evening.
Amazing dining experience! We went for an anniversary dinner and had drinks at the bar and then a wonderful dinner. Our server was excellent and the food was some of the best we have had.
High end prices for high end food. Definitely worth it. Great service, great food, great atmosphere! I definitely recommend Willoughby’s! I will definitely be going back!
This was our 2nd time being here on 4/26/25 and just as the first; was such a lovely experience. The atmosphere is nicely dim with candles and very romantic with light music playing. The staff were all so kind and friendly. Our waiter Isaac (Yes I dug through the trash to find the receipt just so I could include his name lol) was an absolute gem. He was so sweet and knowledgeable. He was careful not to interrupt conversations, refilled our glasses without us even noticing and was just an overall sweetheart. The food was as great as ever. Perfectly cooked and presented. The place got busy really fast but that did not stop the amazing speed and service that we received. I was surprised to see people bringing their young children. I would NEVER bring my young kids to a place like this since we came here to dine quietly together WITHOUT being around kids but I digress. I still love this place and I look forward to coming back again very soon!
I recently had the pleasure of dining with friends at Willoughby’s on the Park to celebrate a birthday (not my own). We began the evening with expertly crafted cocktails, accompanied by a bottle of Moët, setting an elegant tone for the meal. For starters, we all chose the lobster bisque — a dish I often gravitate toward, and I must say, this rendition was exceptional, perhaps one of the finest I’ve ever had.
For my main course, I opted for the special Wagyu steak priced at $79.00, with an added lobster tail. The steak, a true indulgence, was a sublime melt-in-your-mouth experience, cooked to perfection. The restaurant also presented a lovely birthday dessert, and Marci, our attentive and gracious server, ensured that our experience was seamless and enjoyable throughout the evening.
While the overall experience was indeed memorable, there were a few aspects where attention to detail could enhance the fine dining experience. First, the table setting: the individual bread-and-butter plate was placed at the center of each of our pacesetting instead of to the right of silverware (Cheesecake Factory sets this way, but they aren't formal dining), and we had no individual butter knife on that plate. Although the butter knife was provided on the communal butter plate, each guest should ideally have their own butter knife to elegantly butter their bread. As it stood, we were left to use our main course knife for this purpose, which is less than ideal in a fine dining setting.
On a more positive note, steak knives were appropriately brought out with the main courses, adding a touch of precision to the meal. However, I was slightly disappointed by the water glasses. While the wine glasses were a sophisticated touch, the water glasses were more reminiscent of a casual breakfast juice glasses, which detracted from the otherwise refined setting.
In conclusion, the atmosphere at Willoughby’s on the Park is undeniably charming, with its elegant chandeliers setting a refined ambiance. The food, without question, was superb. However, a few small adjustments to the finer details — particularly in the table setting and glassware — would elevate the experience to match the exceptional quality of the cuisine. As I often remind my students in formal dining instruction, the magic truly lies in the details.
A bit confused on our order.
This is a top quality dining experience, especially for berks county. I have lived in Philly for a few years, and Willoughby’s seriously rivals some of the restaurants there. The atmosphere is on point, service is attentive, and, most importantly, the food is stellar. I can’t recommend it enough and will be the new go to spot when I’m in town visiting my parents.
First time me and my wife had been here and us really wanting a good experience, this place did NOT disappoint. The drink list was exceptional, the Oysters were great, and the 18oz Kansas Dry Aged NY Strip was the second best NY Strip steak I have had out of the MANY restaurants and Steak Houses I have been to.
My wife's Sea Bass was a PERFECT portion, nicely presented, and was quite tasty! The NY Strip steak was tender, well cooked, and PACKED with flavor. Our waitress was friendly, and attentive but the service was a TAD slow. I chalked that up to the business since there were NO empty tables.
All in all...we were both pleased and will return again! 👍👍
The food was all delicious. Our server, Zack, was extremely attentive and very helpful with menu suggestions. Thank You!
We had an amazing anniversary dinner. The service was great. Everyone was kind and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing. The ambience made the whole experience absolutely stellar.

Always a pleasure to eat at Willoughby’s!! Food is always good, atmosphere great and service over the top!!
The food was killer. Kobe beef burger is the way to go. Staff was great and friendly.
The experience and food are great. I would have gave it a five star but the cauliflower was not good at all. Unfortunately. But the Kansas city age steak was great. And the mash potatoes were great. The price was exactly as expected for the environment. Beautiful environment great servers and hostess. Go for a beautiful romantic dinner with someone special
The best money can buy!
The food was really good, but it definitely could have been better. The risotto was scrumptious and better than any of the other dishes we had. My wife ordered scallops and the portion for the price was just not cool , however well executed. I had the Duck Manhattan and ordered it medium rare and received the plate done rare and not to my liking. The dish also came with a cherry bourbon reduction and boy was it sweet. I was definitely disappointed by the dish to be honest, however the portion was the largest that I've seen so far. In my book, any dish that describes it as pan seared should have some char on it, and the duck didn't have any. Im willing to give the place a second chance, but it seems more of a steakhouse to me.
