Listen this is what an old school diner is all about. The food is made right in front of you and the prices are cheap. Portions are large and it all tastes great. If you're in the area make sure you stop in and grab something good. Oh and it's cash only. But they do have an ATM on site.

Great hometown, low key, friendly place. Service was prompt - we were greated with a big hello before we even sat down. The restaurant is very clean, nicely decorated and reasonably priced. Food is made fresh - place smells like home cooking. Be patient cause every meal is made in front of you when you order it - no heat lamps. Was craving a hot coffee and breakfast after camping nearby and Piphers was a classic option. Pretty small place, mostly locals. The coffee was solid, the biscuits and gravy did not disappoint. Not as good as my grandma's but pretty darn close.
