Good service from Ben, Brussel sprouts were yum. Wings were a bit on the bland side. Philly steak was good.

I don’t even know where to go with this review… I did get this location highly recommended, so it is possible that I just happened to come on a bad day?
Came in for dinner, there was an issue with seating that prolonged our issues last night, but by the time we sat we tried to keep an open mind.
I can not recall the servers name but she was clearly annoyed, the food came out far too quickly, and she eat with decent food we normally wouldn’t have bothered to write a review.
My spouse and I either leave a good or bad review. This fell just above a bad review, but it just seems, if you don’t come during peak hours, this establishment wants to move you out…
We were there under an hour and also had before the last hour before closing.
I don’t recommend this place personally as it’s a bit haphazard, there’s issues with service, and we were treated as a bother.
The food was not better than Applebees, but the prices want to make you think it is.
The food was not great, the service was absolutely poor, and nothing about The place made it bettter.

Had brunch. Ordered eggs Benedict. The eggs were really small and poached medium/well. If you like your eggs too run all over like i do, you don't want to order the eggs Benedict. The atmosphere is old school Inn style. Exactly what you would expect and as it should be.

It was been about 7-8 months since I had been here and previously and always had a good experience. This review does not reflect on the service or the atmosphere, but only on the food and price.
My wife and I were entertaining a friend from out of town and visiting the historical sites in the area, Washington Crossing, Bowmans Tower etc, and decided to have lunch at the Yardley Inn as it was on our way back. We had made a reservation the evening before and were seated immediately, and drinks taken right away. We ordered 1 old fashioned, 2 sangrias and 2 Moscow mules, calamari app and 2 Ceasar salads one with salmon and one with shrimp, and one roasted chicken salad and one soup du jour, and fried calamari. The prices were very high, but didn’t mind paying as the food was always very good in the past. The calamari was not presented well, just tossed on a plate with a very spicy sauce (not mentioned on the menu) it was “ok” at best. The soup was flavorless, my guest had one taste and set it aside (was charged and paid for though not eaten) the lettuce in the salads were on par with bagged salads you get at Giant, perhaps 5 croutons in the Ceasar salads, the salmon was dry and over cooked, the shrimp was ok but at $13 more, I expected more than 3… that’s $4.33 a shrimp? The roasted chicken was very dry, needed a drink of water after each bite to swallow.
To close, I can say that the $177.00 check was not worth the meal that was served. I would like to say that the staff and service was very good but I hope this was an isolated occurrence and that the food is much better if/when I return.

Meatloaf was good but kind of dry. Soup was good. Nice service overall, but she brought the dessert menus when one of our party was still eating her dinner.

I have lived in Yardley for 54 years and have been to the Yardley Inn multiple times. Last night my wife wanted to take her father there to celebrate his 80th birthday. She made reservations weeks in advance and notified them at the time that this was a special occasion and requested to have a table in the main room that looks at the river. My wife's father has trouble hearing and from countless experiences we knew that this room was a bit quieter than the banquet room which is adjacent to the bar. When we arrived, we checked in and were told that they could not accommodate our request. Next, one of the women managing the hostess station complained to the other that she did have enough menus, rolled her eyes and then proceeded to walk into the banquet hall without addressing us personally. We were perplexed. I stopped and turned to the other hostess to tell her about our request. She simply said we are too busy. We ended up in the banquet room, where the sound level was so high we could not even talk to each other without shouting. The waiter came to our table and stated that he was sorry for having to shout at us, but he would have to for us to hear anything. He took our drink orders and we waited at least 20 minutes and still nothing was served. We attempted to have conversation at the table, but it was impossible. Seeing how this night was going to turn out, we decided to leave. This is a place that touts itself as fine dining in Yardley. All I saw from this experience was, let's see how many people we can jam into a room, the presentation of the food being served at the tables around us (or should I say from the tables that were on top of us) looked sloppy and rushed and they could care less if it's a special occasion. This was extremely disappointing considering my father-in-laws milestone birthday and the lack of care and customer service we received. Please note that the waiter was great and understanding why we were leaving. He was the only person to treat us professionally.

Excellent food and always great service, recently there and was floored by how good the sweet potato soup was! Along with exceptional meatloaf was some great comfort food in a fine setting. They have something for everyone. Pumpkin cheesecake SO GOOD.

We have been to this fine establishment several times. We have taken friends and family for both lunch and dinner. All of us enjoyed everything we had to eat or drink. The staff is always accommodating. We will be returning in the near future.

Yardley Inn has become one of my favorite summer haunts! The outdoor dining area is great for those wanting a family-friendly environment (you know… in case you have to occasionally get up to waltz around with an infant) with some elevated food and bev.
I loveeee to come here for a glass of Pinot Grigio and the kale salad with grilled salmon. Sounds simple, but it’s filling and nourishing and everything my body craves right now (wine included every now and then).
While I have yet to explore the rest of their Yardley Inn menu, they make their pastas in-house and I hear they’re all pretty great. There is certainly no shortage of good Italian in this town
Yardley Inn - don’t overlook it!
