The Yardley Inn Restaurant and Bar

We were seated in a timely fashion, given glasses of water then the waiter (Michael P) disappeared. We found ourselves wonder where he was many times throughout the night, had to ask other waiters to send him to our table. Waited quite a while for our drinks, the restaurant was not busy. When he finally showed up he had no time for us, no good evening, how are you doing? No basic manners or kindness, just are you ready to order. No smile, I can’t say enough how disappointed we were with his overall demeanor. We were celebrating a birthday. When I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday there was no question, oh whose birthday is it or happy birthday it was completely ignored. We felt completely ignored throughout the whole dining experience.

This is a gem. The the brunch was delicious and the atmosphere was welcoming. Our server was great. We enjoyed our ladies brunch.

We walked in with a reservation, the table was so small we were elbow to elbow, the food was overpriced portionwise, It was edible but not great, lacked flavor, the sides were plain and the staff did not fill my water one time, table of three people we paid 160 dollars and walked out hungry. So we will not be going back.

Beautiful restaurant situated on the banks of the Delaware River Creative menu that changes regularly with choices you dont see every day. I really enjoyed the butternut squash curry entree after starting with grilled peaches and goat cheese salad. Professional service, generous portions and reasonable prices make Yardley Inn an excellent choice!

I came here with my wife and kids and absolutely loved it. We enjoyed our taco Tuesday with the kids. We had tacos, guac, and crab nachos and all were amazing. What stood out the most was the staff. The hostess was so sweet, everyone in the restaurant was nice, welcoming and very patient with our little kids. Our waitress provided amazing and friendly service. Michelle, thank you!

Cons:
I was there on August 7, 2025, and the bartender used the bathroom and did NOT wash her hands. She DID NOT even turn on the water 💦 at the sink. I was in the bathroom and witnessed this firsthand.

We ate on the porch, and had a beautiful view of the river. The lemon chicken was delicious and so were the drinks! Highly recommend!

Every dish was absolutely delicious. Service (Brett) was perfect. Didn't order drinks though. There is a nice river view from the window tables inside. The outside tables only have a nice view of the parking lot. Upscale casual.
