So I came here for a fish fry and I must say that it was definitely a little hole in the wall bar. The security rubbed me the wrong way cause he didn’t search one person but decided to search me and lied and said he knew the person when I clearly seen him being introduced to the lady as someone significant other. The bathroom is nasty and needs to be redone. I don’t see how a bar can make so much money but refuse to upkeep the restroom. The drinks were reasonable in price but it made me extremely sick had a headache the next day just off one drink. I thought that was odd so I hate to say they may cut their liquor. I asked the young lady for a bag and she gone say is the food from the fish fry and if so I can’t get a bag. I’m confused cause if the establishment made the food for the fish fry why was it an issue to get a bag. I mean one plastic bag. I don’t understand people these days. But I should’ve of known the service wasn’t gone be good just off the first experience with the security. I honestly don’t like how they even cut up the fish like fish nugget style for the fish fry. It had an okay taste but the green beans tasted the best. Lol.
But hey I guess that’s what happens when you go to these old head spots. They all just rather be drunk.

Over priced .... Way way over priced .... I have never been taxed at a bar before ... Then they charge you for changing the liquor in your drink .... Example u switch peach schnapps for watermelon it's like and extra 5.50 then if you continue to order the drink every time it's made it's an additional 5.50 on top of the cost of the drink .... I the bar is cool but I ended up spending 189 for a hood bar . . Nah .... Foh

Just ordered from carlettes again. The food is always good and the prices aren't bad. Sometimes they do get stingy on the sides, but other than that, it's a good place to hang out with friends and family

It's a pretty lax atmosphere it doesn't have a real young crowd. Age range is 35+ The drinks are good and the liquor isn't watered down. They have Karaoke on Tuesday nights from 9-12 & Thursday is Ladies

Great spot for a secret romance 😁 But seriously, a "Cheers" kinda place. Great drinks and food.... & conversation! Rashad, the bartender, was delightful. They have an outside porch so great to watch the game. Chicken wings fried to perfection!
