“Southern style soulfood by a master Southern loving grandmother type cook. Ms.Delaney loves her food and the presentation and taste DEFINITELY reflects as such. Highly recommend if you are in the Darby area right outside southwest Philly. ??”
“I thought the owner was such a sweet man. He allowed my boyfriend and I to try a meal that wasn't on the menu, but it was something that my boyfriend loved. The food we ordered was the chicken over rice and I have to say it was the best version of the meal I have tasted so far, and I've been eating it in different locations for 16 years now. I wish his restaurants were closer to where I lived because the surrounding halal chicken over rice dishes are so lacking in comparison. I have even eaten this dish cold because you get so much for such small price and it is still delicious cold.”
“Good hoagiesPlenty of meat.Carry out. I didn't see a place there to dine in.Parking: Parking is a challengeWheelchair accessibility: Facility is very small. Anyone with mobility challenges will have a difficult time here.”
“The chicken wings are fresh, flavorful and cooked to perfection! That is all I order so that is all I can speak about. The customer service is very good as well. Please don't hesitate to give Vision's a try!”
“Omg!When I walked in the store picking up delivery.I was captivated. The smell took me back to the 1st bday cake I ever had.The place is clean and most of all,the cake is delicious ?”
“First time to Philadelphia! This was one of many! Went back 3 times during my stay! Everyone was so welcoming, nice crowd! The food was good! The bartenders was nice and helpful. Even watched a foot ball game one night. The dj played good music. It was a nice safe environment, I had a great time!”
“BRUHH! This spot is 10 OUTTA 10! FREE Shrimps wit ya platter as well… food is phenomenal!!! MUST TRY SPICY SNOWCRABS! ????P.S. they take EBT, Foodstamps. . . .”
“I ordered for delivery, and squealed with delight when I opened my soup, after requesting, and receiving, all these extra dumplings, I had to call the Restaurant to thank them for sending exactly what I asked for. My food is all soooo yummy. Oxtail is tender and tasty. Chicken soup, and all my extra dumplings deliciously satisfying.I wholeheartedly recommend Coconut Breeze Cuisine. When you go to this restaurant, keep in mind that patience will be rewarded with deliciousness.”
“We came here during restaurant week, and the servings are just enough for each member of the group to try. This restaurant serves great food that makes you want to appreciate every bite. Sampan is linked, and this location is typically busy. Since the dining room was downstairs, there was a kind of nice corridor leading to it. You and your group can choose from a small variety of dishes to share at the table during restaurant week, with some items having an additional fee. There was a stronger romantic vibe. Here, the Kobe beef is a great choice.”
“The heirloom corn grits with crab fat sofrito & mother rucker burger were made to profección. Our server who I believe said her name was “(mi-ahh)” was also a vibe-genuine.”
“With an ever-changing menu, I know that no matter what vegan dish I order from Primary it’s always going to be exciting and delicious. Many of the dishes have kept me up at night from the french toast to the cheesesteak and the jackfruit medianoche.Chef Mark has always been hospitable and attentive, and you can tell how much passion he has for his plates and his community. This restaurant is truly a gem in Philly and the team behind its magic deserve all the success. If you’re looking for a place to try, you cannot go wrong by visiting Primary.”
“We are so incredibly lucky to live less than a 10min walk from West Passyunk to Stina. The food, staff and space are a perfectly balanced blend with so much love, care and attention to detail put into each dish. Order everything… Stina forever! 5⭐️”
“I've been here a few times, it's a fun place to bring people because of the whole speakeasy vibe. They don't take reservations so it's hit or miss if you can actually get in. Drinks are hit or miss for me too. Over time I've done drinks from the menu and the bartenders choice. I know it sounds silly but I really dislike the ice they use! It's like ice chips which cheapens the drinks, which seems to go against the suave swanky vibe. I got the pickle mule this time though and really liked it.”
“The dining experience here was pretty good but not exceptional. The food was alright for the price, service was friendly enough albeit a little bit slow and lacking in attention.”
“Having grown up with Texas breakfast tacos I was excited to see a spot in Philly to create what I was missing from home. Bfast taco was good, flavor was def there. A bit on the pricier end for a breakfast taco, even with a homemade tortilla. Was hoping all salsas were given out as well, tried the guaijlo , had good flavor. Not sure if I’ll be a reg just because they’re pricey. But I do appreciate what they are bringing to Philly.”
“Pretty good experience! There was a little bit of a mix up with what we ordered but they instantly took care of it and got us the rest of our food. Some of the food was hit or miss. The broll, Bloc party, Hijiki, and e I shumai was great but I didn't really like the chashu because it was a bit gummy and the wings were not my favorite. But other than that, it was all great. I will definitely come back soon to try more things :)”
“Such a great experience. The service was quick. Oh the food ???Vegetarian options: Of the 10 options 3 were vegan based so I’d say that’s a plus!Dietary restrictions: Plant-based preferred”
“Suraya Restaurant in Philadelphia is a culinary delight, offering an authentic Lebanese experience in the heart of Fishtown. It’s known for its exquisite food and perfect service, with a cozy ambiance that’s ideal for any occasion. The menu celebrates traditional Lebanese dishes with a modern twist, and the desserts are particularly renowned. While prices are a bit premium, the quality and the dining experience are well worth it. The patio area is a city favorite, providing a unique outdoor setting with a separate bar. Suraya isn’t just a meal; it’s a memorable dining event that’s definitely worth a visit.”
“Bought shrimp tacos, chicken tacos, esquites, chicken tacos and guacamole. The only downside is that the chicken tacos were made with dark chicken thigh meat, I wrongly assumed it would be chicken breast (my fault for not asking).Otherwise good decent food!”
“Definitely the best omakase in Philly!! Quaint bar setting BYOB! Right up close great sushi masters. No special occasion just decided to have sushi with my son. Every course was outstanding! Flavors were amazing. I love seeing the reactions of the other patrons as the eat the courses! Will definitely be back many time hopefully. Well worth the drive great neighborhood ample parking. Beware of the non descript building. At $158 you will be very satisfied with every bite. The ala carte menu has some great add ins priced accordingly 20-38$. They offer hot and cold tea as well as a few soft drinks and water.Parking: Parking down the street metered cash or credit card. Get the appWheelchair accessibility: Same level as street.”
“The only Thai place I will order from in the entire Philadelphia vicinity. The best staff. The best food. The best experience. I will forever give JJ Thai my business and always recommend them to friends & family. By the way, if your server is Air, be prepared because she is the absolute best server I have came across in any restaurant. I worked in the service industry myself, and to come across someone like Air is truly a blessing. She is so friendly, goes above and beyond, and always ensures the best customer service. Thank you JJ Thai and thank you Air for continuous unforgettable experiences.”
“Very small intimate space with the open kitchen directly on the floor. Had an incredible experience here! The staff was super friendly and bantered with us all night. The stand out to me was the scallop toast, it practically melts in your mouth. Though everything we had was excellent flavor and presentation wise. I will absolutely be back!”
“Amazing little bar with a great beer selection and excellent bar food. The wings were among the best I’ve ever had (and I’m from Alberta - we take wings seriously!) knowledgeable server and very friendly. They put a lot of care into the food and drink of this bar and it shows.”
“Food was good, not great. There was no bread or salad offered. Additionally, my chicken parm did not come with a side of pasta, which is fine, but I didn’t know that and I wasn’t even asked if I’d like to add it for an additional fee. I feel like that should have been communicated a little more clearly.”
“This restaurant is located on East Passyunk in South Philly. I love the ambiance and service was great. Meat and veggie platter was delicious. The platter also came with pizza dough which was surprisingly really good. I am also currently obsessed with their gnocchi, it has the perfect texture and the sauce was amazing. Will definitely come back!”
“Food... Amazing!! Service... Fantastic!! Atmosphere... Cozy!!I highly recommend this restaurant. I enjoy the delicious food (especially the Salmon Freekah Salad and Pistachio Sticky Bun) and the Brown Butter Artichoke Borekas are everything!!! After a year of coming here, I've tried nearly everything on the menu ? Owner, Chef Mike Solomonov is incredibly generous!!!”
“Oh man! I didn’t know I needed this place in my life but here we are! The Pastéis De Nata was perfect, the iced chai was incredible, and the Antonio breakfast sandwich was everything you’d want from a sandwich. Nothing was left on the plate!”
“Very good food and the service was greatKid-friendliness: It's a small establishment but it holds a nice amount of peopleWheelchair accessibility: It doesn't have any steps so it's easy to access”
