My mother has been telling me for months to try this place. Well, we tried it last night. It was great! A small, unimpressive bar connected to a bowling alley. The food was excellent. I had the ribeye with brussel sprouts. It was cooked perfectly and hands down one of the best steaks I've had in the area. My wife had the filet. It too was excellent and cooked perfectly. Our server was short handed by another server calling in sick...she handled the volume with ease and was extremely pleasant and attentive. Live music came on just before we left and was a nice touch. Will definitely be going back.

I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised at how good this small restaurant / sports bar is that was attached to Suburban Bowlerama, on Queen Street, in York, Pa. Wife, daughter and myself first had three games in the alley, which went by at good time for three games. But the real treat was when some of the customers exited this little eatery as we bowled, we couldn't help but smell the food being served just behind us on the furthest end of the alleys. When we came inside, Michelle had greeted us pleasantly, and asked if I needed a chair moved as I was in a wheelchair, but the tables were perfect height and had no trouble at all getting a place to eat. ^^ A few other people were dotted around different seats as multiple TVs played various sports, as we started looking on the menus of what was making our mouths water. My daughter ordered the Nashville Hot Shrimp, Wife had the chilli, and decided to get a small speciality pizza, Ham with fig sauce ... ?... I decided to get a bowl of the creame of crab soup and sweet tea. Food took a small while to make, but when it came out, it was AMAZING. The soup was in a wide styled bowl with crackers, and no lie. It was perfect. Then my wife had started on her chilli, and she said it was exactly how her mom used to make it from North Carolina, it was THAT Good. Daughter had started on her hot shrimp and was happily bouncing in her seat as she loved the heat and the taste. Then when me and wife got done with the bowls of OMG Goodness, then she offered me a piece of her pizza, and I tell you, I NEVER Had such an outstanding combination on a pizza before as I had here. It was a white flat bread pizza, and the ham was perfect with crisp edges, but the best part was the sweet fig sauce. It was perfectly balanced with the salty meat and the sweet drizzled sauce on top. Michelle came by and asked how we were doing, and she just smiled as we told her how good the food was. She had let us know the menu was changing, and thanked us for letting her know what we liked, hopefully they will keep our choices on those menus, as they will be choices we will definitely order again, the next time we head there for bowling. So please, when you get food there at Alley Oops, tell Michelle how good your choices they are, and see when they change the menu, they keep the choices on. I couldn't recommend this food eatery place highly enough, as seeing how excellent the food is, and Michelle's pleasant personality made the day for us. We WILL be back again... ^^ Cheers and God Bless... Deaf Gryphon ^^

We are from out of town and looking for a table for 13 after a volleyball tournament on a Saturday night. They got us right in! Wasn't sure what to expect food-wise, but we were pleasantly surprised. Great food, great service, and the prices were reasonable!

Much better food than you'd expect from a bar attached to a bowling alley. I had grilled salmon over a garden salad, and it was decent. Others had Strombolis. The Buffalo chicken Stromboli was very tasty. The Cheeesesteak Stromboli was OK; a bit too much cheese. Good beer selection and fair prices.

Good food, fair prices. A bit small, but I'd definitely go back when in town. Service and atmosphere was just what we were looking for.

We were in town for a wrestling tournament and grabbed a late lunch here on a Saturday (party of seven). We were pleasantly surprised how great the food was! Great menu selection as well. It's a small sports bar but has 7-8 TV's so we could watch several college football games. Jill was AWESOME! The 4 cheese grilled cheese sandwich with pulled pork was AMAZING! Will definitely go back the next time we're in town.

From a strong critic! I love places like this! Jill and Kristyn run it like it’s thanksgiving; being social, having fun, but keeping it frank. It’s like you’re with family here when hanging out, doesn’t get better in my opinion. Love it!

Came here for a hockey tournament in York and was looking for a place to eat. This little restaurant connected to the bowling alley is awesome!! The food was excellent and the wings were the best in town. 18 craft beers in tap as well. Server was great and polite and we talked for a while. Food came out quickly and efficiently. The food serving is more than enough for the prices. This is the place to stop for food in the town in York!

Love the all you can eat crab nights, it’s pretty small but the staff was on top of everything. I plan on returning to try some other things on the menu. But not a bad place over all!
