Little spot, it seems a bit run down but i dont think its dirty. The pizza itself was good, but it was a bit sweet. Im not talking oregano sweet i mean absolutely sugar in the sauce sweet. If i were to eat here again (which i might im kind of local) id get a pie that would lean into the sweetness, maybe onion and pineapple.
We were the only ones in there but service was excellent, the people i assume owned the shop were very pleasant and gave us everything we needed without having to ask.

I had avoided this place for years because of the low reviews, but we ordered through DoorDash the other night because it was late. We are glad we did because the pizza is awesome (everybody LOVED it). I had asked for mine to be well done & the restaurant messaged to find out if I want both prepared that way. So A+ on service too. Even the bad reviews mention that the food is good, so maybe they had an employee who didnt have a great attitude. My experience was great & I will add Anza's to my list pf go-to pizza spots. Expectations exceeded and it was after 11pm!

I went there today. Friday March 28, 2025. I ordered a chopped cheese steak sub with lettuce, tomatoes and mayonnaise. They forgot my lettuce and tomatoes and mayonnaise. She said did not ask for these items. Told me that each one would cost .75. I gave them $1.50 more. They had already charged me $14. 48 for a large chopped cheese steak and a small juice. She gave me 2 thin slices of tomatoes and a tablespoon og lettuce. The sandwich was dry. Not much sauce. After waiting about ten minutes in the drive through in a small one way alley a car pulled up behind me. I rang the window bell and told them and she said its someone coming to pick up food. Then she left. A few minutes later a man comes and tells me to move cause there is a customer behind me. I thought I was a customer too. I said where should I go I'm still waiting for food I paid for. He told me to ride around the corner it will be 2 minutes or park and stand in the alley and wait. Never going here again. Waste of money.

Ok, if you're from the area, then you know me, I'm the executive sous chef at a well-respected fine dining restaurant here in York. And the owner of THE UNKOMMON CHEF A FOOD SERVICE RESTAURANT. WE CLOSED OUR YORK LOCATION MOVING OUT OF STATE. HOWEVER THIS PLACE ANZA'S USE TO BE GOOD NOT KNOW MORE TONIGHT I CALLED IN to make a order for delivery and ordered the large chop steak Stromboli and got a Stromboli filled with pork mind you I'm deathly allergic to pork and all pork products So I call in to get the order fixed speak with the female and she says I did not hear you say chop steak I just heard Stromboli and she puts the guy on the phone I explain to him what's the issue is and he hears me out and says I have to charge you more I ask why and for the reasons he says ok what's the difference $8 💸 because you paid with your card there is a $8 💸 minimum to charge your card (so that would have been a extra $16 dollars 💸 ) not to mention he can't put it on my card ill have to pay cash when the delivery guy comes back ! I say to him, who carries cash now a days I don't carry cash So I let him know who I was and was verbally Assaulted and Cursed out being told I would be refunded and to keep the pork that I was allergic to o ( which I put in the trash immediately) the quality of this business has declined so much sense the father has passed on ( God rest he's soul ) highly recommend NOT GOING TO THIS BUSINESS FOOD NASTY ,CUSTOMER SERVICE (NONE ) WILL SPEAK RUDE TO YOU IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH ORDER AND WILL THREATENED YOU ALSO ( WHEN I SIAD I WAS GOING TO WRITE A REVEIW BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE TODAY (FRIDAY, JANUARY 24TH. 2025 HE CRUSED ME OUT HUNGING UP THE PHONE. WHY THEY COULDN'T JUST make what I ordered and send it to me as I paid for. No I have to be CRUSED out money takin with no food I will not ever be using this place for there none services and will not recommend this place to anyone STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE since when is the paying customer not given the benefits of the Doubt Or food not corrected. It's clear there are major issues here no kitchen management, no restaurant management. No human resources no care for the local person that tries to give business to small local businesses there comes a time when you shroud just give it up because making the community that you are trying to service feel bad and thinking they won't stand up to you or do anything is not acceptable at all o. Any level.

Their stromboli and subs are great but I ALWAYS feel like I'm bothering them. I'd rather have my teeth pulled.

Food is phenomenal spend almost $100 once sometimes twice a week, referred about 15 people especially for there hot honey Fries but there customer service is horrible no matter what time you order she’s moody with a attitude and today refused to deliver so did a DoorDash and she canceled that to I’ll take my $100 else where
