Love the food. Been there many times. But lately management is piss-poor Two weeks in a row. Closed. On a Saturday night. Checked the website. Even called prior. No problem they said. Made reservations for two at seven. Showed up at 6:30. Was told they were closing. Couldn’t seat us. Ran out of food. Don’t count on this place regardless of what you are told. Even though the food is good. NOT worth the disappointment. Go somewhere else. Shame on you.

Service was wonderful here, casual style of service, server knowledgeable and other staff checked in periodically when passing out table. The Margherita Pizza and Mushroom pizza were pretty good. Spaghetti Bolognese was delicious and had layers of flavor. Garlic knots were so so. Caesar dressing is really tasty and I loved the white anchovies with the salad.The tiramisu was still frozen when we got it, I could tell it wasn't homemade but the quality was good otherwise once it slacked out. Prices were very fair for the area.Very clean restaurant.

Went here for the 2nd time because our 1st time was amazing. Let me say the second time was the worst dining experience that we have ever had. After we asked to speak to a manager about the eggplant being cold. We were threatened and verbally attacked. The waiter came from around the bar and threatened my boyfriend. The manager got in my face . There explanation was they are short staffed. If you want cold food and horrible customer service this is your place.

Met a friend here on a lazy Sunday afternoon to get caught up over a couple glasses of wine and try the wood oven pizza. The bartender/waitress, Marin, was very friendly and attentive, and the Chianti she recommended perfectly complimented the delicious Margherita pizza. It was a great way to sorbs a couple hours.
I wholeheartedly disagree with some other reviews concerning the service at Avianos.I had an incredible experience despite them being short staffed that evening. The chef was working very diligently and the proper expectations were set.Sometimes just being aware of your surroundings will give the proper expectations to not be so critical of the staff and restaurant. I am willing to wait for great food which.The food was incredible and we will be returning frequently to enjoy the food and service!

Wonderful small Italian restaurant with fantastic food and service!Had the salmon saltimbocca, Caesar salad, and chicken Milanese...and WOW! Cannot recommend enough. We will be returning.

First time we went on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Several items were unavailable including my pick-lasagne. Wife got a panini and I got a potato pizza. Mozzarella curds were a delicious appetizer. Everything was very good. Potato pizza was...potatoey, but good. I wouldn't get it again as the other food selections are much better. Went back again on a late Saturday afternoon. Chicken Limon was delicious as was the Arrabiata. Chicken Limon had substitute pasta - still yummy. Shaved beef once again unavailable. As mentioned by others, attention to water refill is needed. Overall very good food. On a side note, door hardware should have a latch. Not too costly to put in. Door kept blowing open. OK that day, but I can't imagine comfort if it was a little colder.I will go back for Limon or arrabiata.....or maybe even try the lasgne! Be patient. Food is made fresh and takes a little time. Pretend you are in Europe, take your time and relax.
We are in town for a swim meet and went to Aviano’s with a large party of adults and kids. It was the worst service experience I’ve had in a long time. Food came out slowly over 90 minutes and several entrees were missed completely. There was little recognition or attempt to rectify by the wait staff or management.

This place is amazing. We came as a party of 40 (hockey team and parents) and they graciously accommodated us with pre-ordered food that came out fresh, hot, and delicious. The staff was friendly and courteous and extremely tolerant of our crazy hockey boys. We had salads, fried cheese curd (mozzarella sticks but way better), the most AMAZING garlic bread I have ever had, and fresh hot brick oven pizza. Having grown up around friends who owned a north jersey pizzeria, I didn’t think I could taste better Italian. This matched and even slightly exceeded it. Definitely went beyond my expectations for food in York, PA. Can’t forget to mention the well-stocked bar! If you are local and haven’t been here, you’re missing out.
