Went to the Eastern market on 8/9/24 just for Bairs chicken. Wife ordered chicken tenders. Talk about DRY!, she could'nt even eat one because of how dry they were. I ordered fried mushrooms which is what I went for. Nope, were lukewarm at best. Very very disappointed. Guess thats what you get when you have kids back their cooking who are more interested in their phones than serving quality food. Doubt we go back.

I stop over after my guard shift at the mall on Fridays and although I don't eat fried chicken everyday I could! eat this Fried Chicken every'day The woman there is spunky but very nice and thoughtful and helpful she doesn't look at the reviews but I'm leaving one, Live long and prosper" Bairs fan yours truly And if you pronounce the name wrong you will be corrected?

Since I got my job in downtown York I go to the central market every tuesday and thursday. The chicken and the potato wedges are phenomenal. Both are always crispy and served fresh. The workers and owner are very nice as well. They are always are considerate when talking to their costumers. It’s always a positive experience when I order.

The service is definitely better than the chicken, probably because they cook a lot of chicken in advance, and by the time it gets served it's kinda dry & tough. OK if you're really hungry, but there's other vendors here that cook their food to order.

Yeah... still probably some of the best fried chicken in York for sure. Seasoned perfectly, extremely crispy skin buy juicy chicken meat. The hot sauce packets they give out are just right for this chicken too. I give them a 9.8 because the fries were pretty good just nothing special to write home about. I got the 4 piece meal with fries and a can of Pepsi for $10 bucks. AWESOME DEAL! Same thing at ROFO is gonna set you back like 15 bucks or more. The front end needs an updated cleaner looking menu and some fresh paint but other than that it's great. Hours on FB and Google are not up to date. just went there at like 8pm and it says they are closed at 2pm.

Always stop in Bair's at the Market and loved the food, so I had Bair's catered a small party and everyone loved the food. I was very pleased and I'll do it again.

Every time we go to the Central Market we eat at Bair's. Located inside the market, there are tables and chairs right in front of Bairs to use when eating. Their chicken is always done well. Not too greasy and always fully cooked. Their potato wedges are a perfect combo that pairs well with their chicken. Easy entrance from Beaver Ave.
