This place had the most honest, trustworking owners. Their food is amazing and service is every better. Any late night snack is highly recommended is this place.

I stop over after my guard shift at the mall on Fridays and although I don't eat fried chicken everyday I could! eat this Fried Chicken every'day The woman there is spunky but very nice and thoughtful and helpful she doesn't look at the reviews but I'm leaving one, Live long and prosper" Bairs fan yours truly And if you pronounce the name wrong you will be corrected?

Since I got my job in downtown York I go to the central market every tuesday and thursday. The chicken and the potato wedges are phenomenal. Both are always crispy and served fresh. The workers and owner are very nice as well. They are always are considerate when talking to their costumers. It’s always a positive experience when I order.

I have very high expectation for a chicken box because my parents owned a fried chicken store in the heart of Baltimore. Honestly, the chicken was good. It was fried to a perfect crisp and the inside was juicy and moist. I wasn't a fan of the western fries. They were a little dry and I wish that they had more flavor infused in them. In my opinion, if you want a really good box of chicken and fries, you need to go to Baltimore to get it, but if you're in York, this will definitely do. I would get chicken from here again. I wanted to try the fried liver because everyone was raving about them, but they were sold out when we went, so I need to go back to try them.

Delicious!!! I went here for the first time and absolutely loved the chicken. Light, Flaky, crunchy crust, and juicy!!! The potatoe wedges were also delicious. Thank you!!! I'll be back.

The service is definitely better than the chicken, probably because they cook a lot of chicken in advance, and by the time it gets served it's kinda dry & tough. OK if you're really hungry, but there's other vendors here that cook their food to order.

Yeah... still probably some of the best fried chicken in York for sure. Seasoned perfectly, extremely crispy skin buy juicy chicken meat. The hot sauce packets they give out are just right for this chicken too. I give them a 9.8 because the fries were pretty good just nothing special to write home about. I got the 4 piece meal with fries and a can of Pepsi for $10 bucks. AWESOME DEAL! Same thing at ROFO is gonna set you back like 15 bucks or more. The front end needs an updated cleaner looking menu and some fresh paint but other than that it's great. Hours on FB and Google are not up to date. just went there at like 8pm and it says they are closed at 2pm.
Always look forward to chicken and potatoes wedges.

Every time we go to the Central Market we eat at Bair's. Located inside the market, there are tables and chairs right in front of Bairs to use when eating. Their chicken is always done well. Not too greasy and always fully cooked. Their potato wedges are a perfect combo that pairs well with their chicken. Easy entrance from Beaver Ave.
