Food is always good, sometimes not real warm, but always tasty. Service for this location has been below average the last few times we've visited. This past time it took forever to even receive drinks, not to mention the length of time to receive meals. The same was happening to others around us. When we mention it, we always hear the same thing....shift change, call offs, etc.
Us and another table waited to speak with manager....but imagine that, they didn't even come.
We really enjoy the atmosphere and the food...but I believe we'll drive further and try another location.

Waited forever for someone to clean off a table. Took forever for our did to come. Party of 5. Bake potatoe was cold, butter wouldn’t melt. Mashed potatoes were cold and had a hard crust. Soup as cold. Last time here, party of 5, one person never got their food, til the rest were finished eating. Decided to try again. Now we are through. Yuck. Standing room only waiting to be seated at dirty tables, when we left.

Shrewsbury Store gave gravy with the biscuits, York Store said they only give the gravy if it is requested. The gravy in the pot roast tasted much better at the Shrewsbury Store. All over better atmosphere at the Shrewsbury Store.

Not as good as it used to be. 10 people in line to check out with only one cashier. Bathroom was filthy.

If this were my first Cracker Barrel experience it would of been my last. The food was awful and the burger had a fishy taste to it, so the person eating that did not. The pancakes were greasy and the NY strip was like a shoe. My spouse had dumplings and got ill...

The food was good, but the waitress kept saying she was waiting on one meal to come out to bring the rest. We said we would take what was ready, after waiting a long time and seeing two tables that came in after us, get their biscuits and then meals, before we ever got anything. She still didn't bring the food until an additional 10 minutes later after being asked to bring the rest out, she decided to wait until all 4 meals were ready, despite what we asked her to do. So she comes with all the wrong sides, things we didn't even order or want, and we asked for ketchup 3 times before we got it. By that time it was there we had to rush eating, ask for boxes and rush to go to Gymnastics because this took unnecessary long to get the food and then the correct food and THEN the ketchup.

Ordered DoorDash from here. Both burgers were burnt and dry. The green beans tasted like they were from a can and the loaded mashed potatoes were bland and old. Very disappointed.

Nice place, but the Mac n cheese was a little too plain. Also, the loaded baked potato wasn't the best.

Apparently no one was assigned our table and we waited more than 10 minutes to talk to anyone. No silverware, no drink refills. Women's restroom was very dirty and no toilet paper. Trash cans overflowing.

It was my 3rd time visiting the restaurant/cute store and it was a little disappointing. First time visit October 2024 )was amazing: basket corn bread / biscuits, attentive waiter, food was excellent, food came out in a timely manner, I didn’t even care the long line that I had to make for checkout. However, 2nd and 3rd visits food was not the same. 2nd visit I asked for the biscuits/ cornbread we had on first visit, it was after many requests that I was given only biscuits. Then, the food was served in a careless way( no good looking). In the 3rd visit, no básquet of biscuits/ cornbread, food was served past 50 minutes and cold, not looking good or tasting good at all. We ate it because we were starving. I just visited based on the first time visit. I was hoping for the same experience on my 2nd , 3rd ..😶
