We went into Dairy Queen South Queen St. York PA with a large group of people and small children everyone complained of the store smelling like POT. Announced it to the employees they stood behind the counter and laughed about it July 19th, 2025 6:50pm. Very unprofessional. Requested to speak to the manager they told me that the manager was upstairs and they would get them. Five minutes later, they came back to the front desk and said the manager is now unavailable how coincidental is this, corporate needs to get inside of this place and evaluate all their employees/ store manager and perhaps run drug test as the whole facility smells like it was drug infested we left and did business elsewhere. We will not be returning to this business. Based on other reviews this complaint was made months ago to.

Came in on a Wednesday night and the store was not busy at all. Had 4 employees working and still took 20 minutes to make 3 blizzards. Store was dirty and staff was slow to move. Will never be coming back here again as this was my first time.

It’s been a while since we last ordered a cake from Dairy Queen, but today we picked up an ice cream cake for my daughter, and it was absolutely phenomenal! If you’re getting one from the Queen Street location, be sure to ask for Allie—she did an amazing job, and you won’t regret it. Thank you, Allie!

Nice place for ice cream and burgers it has tables for outdoor dining with nice seats and views of the streets. I would love that they serve coffee ☕️
There is often a line here and not much space for people to line up, but the prices are decent and the treats are great. There is both indoor and outdoor seating.

Worst pumpkin. Pie blizzard I had. It wasn't thick, it was all over the outside of the cup, and given to us like that. The worker gave to much change back, we gave it back to him, plus gave him a tip. If I knew what my blizzard was going to be, I wouldn't have.
