El Serranos is the one restaurant in York that I HAVE to visit when I am in the the area. The Pollo Fundido is the only menu item I need as it is my absolute favorite. The chips and salsa are my favorite as well. They used to serve bottomless chips/salsa, but now they charge after the first round. It’s probably for the best as I would eat my weight in chips and then end up not being hungry for my meal. We also get the chicken fajitas and the Pollo Parilla and everything is delicious....
Cool unexpected place. Definitely go and try it. Peruvian menu and vibe. I had a tasty pomegranate pisco margarita and a salmon entree. The salmon was absolutely delicious! Melted in your mouth, plated with veggies and rice served with a pleasant, light almost lemongrass flavored sauce. It was so good. Excellent service as well.
I've been going here since I was a kid. The food is amazing. The owner truly cares about his customers and his business. I've never had a meal I didn't like and we always brought friends and family here to eat. We now live 450 miles away and still come here to eat when we're back in the area.
