This restaurant has the best pizza, the sauce is great and they use real/ authentic mozzarella cheese, the crust has a wonderful taste, we have had the margarita woodfire and regular pizza, also the cheesesteak stromboli is amazing, very good quality meat. Their specialty cocktails are soo delicious and perfect!! The owners are soo nice an accommodating, great service. We have been looking for authentic Italian food for a long time and we finally found it, would give more stars if I could.

Terrible late delivery. Do not order. Was not given honest updates each of the 3 times I had to call.

Update to owner: I ordered at 620, my food was promised at 7. I called at 630 because I had not received any email confirmation as it said I would. The person that answered said they had my order and I asked would it be ready for 7 and was told yes. I called at 713 and was told it was out for delivery at that time. How was my food delivered at 7.26 if I literally was speaking to you at 727? (See screenshot below). At 727 I was being told it would be 5 more minutes. The food was finally delivered at 735 which was more than 5 minutes later from when we spoke and was also 35 minutes after my food was promised. I still ever received a confirmation email of the order, or any updates about it being any later than 7.

I can totally understand delays, being busy, etc. but none of that was ever shared with me over my multiples calls until I posted this review, and we even spoke with a manager at one point. The customer service level now is great but it would have been more helpful when the order was occurring.

First time trying Ferrante's Pizza tonight for takeout. Was very pleased! We enjoyed our large Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza and a large Cheese pizza both well done. Will definitely be ordering from here again. Crust was delicious, crispy, and flavourful. Chicken Bacon Ranch was loaded...no skimpy on the toppings here!

This was our first time experiencing Ferrante's in York, PA and it was excellent. The staff was very friendly and professional. The pizza was terrific, like we used to get in South Jersey or NYC. We will definitely be back.

Ordered a Pasta dish and grilled chicken sandwich. The pasta dish was ok, the portion of pasta they gave you was very small, the grilled chicken sub had 2 pieces of thin chicken, and the rest was lettuce and tomatoes, needless to say I left there still hungry.

Now I like this place’s pizza, but everything else I have tried was very disappointing. The spaghetti sauce is so watery it has no flavor, the subs and wraps had 90% lettuce 10% meat. Also have seen one of the waitresses hold and touch a babies feet that was at a table..then touch my plate. Sucks that Johns is gone.

I visited this restaurant for the first time today with my wife and two daughters. The restaurant was very clean and the service was very welcoming. My kids shared a pepperoni pizza (oven baked), and my kids loved it. I have to admit that my wife and I tried it and like it too. We could tell that the pizza sauce was authentic and home made, very delicious. My wife had chicken marsala and other than the chicken being a little dry (not that big of a deal) it was very good. I went simple and had a ham and cheese sub, very good as well. I recommend getting the house dressing when getting a salad, I guarantee you will like it. We may have found our new favorite restaurant.

Having dined in Ferrante’s at least a few dozen times now, I feel qualified to rate it . . . unlike the one-time diners that have given it a one-star review. The food is consistently excellent. The owner aims to please. The atmosphere is friendly. (The decor is . . . improving.) Of all the restaurantuers that have come and gone from this location, Ferrante has been the best to date. And, I hope Ferrante’s thrives because it’s become one of my go-to restaurants for an excellent, affordable meal in the south end of town.
