This is one of the neatest stores around unfortunately the owners are NO ONE you want to deal with. They never followed through with money that was payed out to them for an event and they wouldn’t refund it either . Poor business practices.

An event that happened in Reading Pennsylvania. I saw 2 employees leave once they got screamed and was told to leave . by other employees telling them to leave and and festival board is refusing to pay the 2 individuals that they made leave. They are entitled to compensation. Things need to be dealt with. Labor board will be involved.. A very unprofessional way to run a business. They are one-sided, they only take one person's side. They don't listen to the whole issue.

I am beyond satisfied with the festive board. They were very tentative to our needs. They listened to everything we had asked. Bartenders were so sweet, and our day of coordinator- Bridgette was amazing. She set up all of our tables with cloths and center pieces. Food was great. They stayed until the end to take all trash and clean up. Highly recommend!!!

They were so professional and personal, they set up and take down was flawless and the food was amazing! Absolutely the best. From our first phone call to the very end the experience we had with Festive Board Catering was top notch... Sherrie our day of coordinator was one of the best, she helped in everyway by making sure that my daughter and new son in-law were fed and had drinks the entire time, to making sure that I was not stressed either. We can not forget about the Food.. absolutely the most delicious, and everything the Bride and Groom wanted.. Hands down the Best out there ❤️

We hired The Festive Board for my son and daughter-in-law’s wedding on October 10, 2025, and I can’t say enough good things about them. From start to finish, the food, presentation, and service were exceptional. Every dish was delicious, beautifully prepared, and served perfectly on time.
Chuck and his staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly — they were professional, attentive, and genuinely kind to every guest. You could tell they truly cared about making the day special.
So many of our guests commented on how amazing the meal was and how wonderful the catering team was to work with. Thank you to everyone for helping make the wedding absolutely perfect — you exceeded every expectation!

I was initially so impressed by The Festive Board when I met Ed and his wife at a bridal expo over a year before my wedding. They seemed like the full package — food, dessert, bartenders, mixers, garnishes, and even a day-of/month-of coordinator who would help with vendors and décor. That service was a huge reason I chose them.
Leading up to the wedding, communication and planning went smoothly. However, things began to unravel the day before. My coordinator, Taylor, was supposed to attend our rehearsal, which had been confirmed weeks in advance, but she never showed. Thankfully, my venue coordinator stepped in. Taylor apologized and was ready to help the next day, but unfortunately, many other issues followed.
On the wedding day itself, the appetizers were served cold, the grazing table was disappointing (boxed crackers and Tostitos), and we ran out of mixers provided by the caterer. The bar didn’t even have water available for guests when one overheated — only lemonade. Servers were unprofessional at times, including one who rested a bussing tub on a guest’s chair and spilled dishes and food.
The buffet food was lukewarm at best. The Kona beef was dried out, and the quality overall reminded me of frozen dinners. Shockingly, one server dropped the serving spoon for the mac and cheese and continued serving guests with his gloved hand until a groomsman stopped him.
Dessert service was equally mishandled — only one of the two sheet cakes was cut and served, meaning guests who wanted vanilla never got any. The gluten-free and vegan cupcakes I ordered (with signage) were mixed up and served without any allergy notice after the sign was removed.
I never signed the “satisfaction” form I was handed at the end of the night because so many responsibilities and expectations were not met — and no one from The Festive Board has reached out since to follow up.
I truly wish this had been a positive experience, but The Festive Board fell short in food quality, professionalism, and attention to detail. My wedding day was still wonderful thanks to our family, friends, and venue team, but I would not recommend this caterer based on how many things went wrong that could have been avoided.

Several staff lacked event experience, causing disorganization and delays that required our coordinators to step in. The kids’ meals were never served, food was served cold, we ran short on linens and napkins, and the food truck arrived over 30 minutes late — all of which significantly affected our guests’ experience. Furthermore, poor and/or no communication from catering management and failed to respond to messages. Overall, disappointing service and would not recommend for price, quality or service.

We hired Festive Board to provide the catering and bartenders for our wedding and we are so glad that we did!
Ed was so nice to work with planning out a menu and getting a price estimate. They prepared two plates for us of our chosen foods to sample, which were prepared/presented exactly how it would be for our wedding. We decided afterwards we wanted to swap out one of the sides and they were easily accommodating.
After booking, Brigitte was our main contact since she would be the one managing our wedding day. She was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. She worked with us every step of the way to ensure we were happy with our selected foods, helped us with what/how much liquor to buy, and was amazingly helpful with making our signature drinks come to life!
We had a plated meal for 50 people, with dual entrees, and everything was delicious. The food was served hot, and just as good as when we sampled it before booking. We also added on a s'mores buffet table which was such a nice extra, many of the guests commented how unique and fun it was!
Festive Board also provided the linens, and they were beautiful! Well pressed, no wrinkles or folds, and perfectly sized to fit all of the different tables throughout the cocktail hour and reception.
At the end of the night Brigitte even had prepared an extra plate of food for my husband and I to take back to the hotel with us for a late night snack. We truly felt taken care of from the time we called for a quote, all the way through the end of our event.

Used festive board to cater our wedding recently Initial meeting was smooth and enjoyed the food. The last month was a severe disappointment. Poor communication skills was a major red flag, set up a phone call to go over final details… that call didn’t start until roughly 15+ minutes after the agreed upon time, got told more than once that a document we requested was emailed, and come to find out it never was until my final attempt in asking what email address they had sent it to which is when it was finally sent. The day of the wedding catering staff was walking around the bridal suite where they had no purpose being. Then during cocktail hour we get told that catering is about 15 minutes behind and needed some more time, we (bride and groom) got our food first and it was cold, not even warm just cold, the stuffing was way over seasoned to the point that we couldn’t enjoy it. Then an incident occurred with an allergen being on somebody’s plate and the response was “I wasn’t given a list” but yet we had the timestamp from that the email with the list that was sent.

My wife and I are so incredibly thankful for Festive Board for helping to make our wedding so damn perfect. The food was great but the service was even better despite it being an incredibly hot day/venue.
First the bartenders were top notch. Super friendly and always made each drink to perfection. My cocktail of choice was a Moscow Mule and it was one of the best ones I've ever had.
Secondly, the staff was always so attentive and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure our day was perfect. I wish I would've personally shaked everyone's hand because we've never felt so catered in our lives.
Lastly, our supervisor, Jennifer, was AWESOME! She made sure we had everything we needed, made sure we were perfectly fed and assisted in more ways than we could've imagined. Helping us organize our dessert table to perfection.
We were so pleased with everything that we will be frequent customers. Already looking forward to seeing familiar faces and eating their delicious food again! Wishing their team continued success!
