This is your pretty basic mexican-americanish restaurant for the Northeast. My girlfriend's go to is the fajitas texicanos and it is always delicious with lots of leftovers for her. I like to switch it up once in a while. I really like their Frijoles de la Olla soup, which is a pretty basic bean soup, but has lots of freshly diced ingredients to toss into it. I often pair that with the Chili's con queso which is two fried tortillas with a cheese sauce and jalapenos I usually make sure to ask for extra jalapenos. I recently tried the molcajete which was good. Plenty of parking, plenty of seating, plenty of drink options.
If you want real Mexican food you must go here! The prices you pay are great for what you get. The fried ice cream is a dessert that you must at least try once!

Horrible service. Wouldn't recommend ordering here, canceled my order that was made before closing. Last time I worked in food you are supposed to take orders up to closing time lol, don't waste your time here on a late night snack.

Frustrated with my experience there yesterday. We did have a pretty nice shrimp quesadilla, but my molcajete was completely different than described and disappointing at best. Cool looking presentation, BUT It was more like boiled salsa with some rice, a few scraps of chicken, and a speck of cheese, not the pleasant sounding dish on the menu. Service was also kind of middling, seemed like we frustrated our server by taking a few minutes to review the gigantic menu.All in all, I've had good food and service here once before, but this was a total departure. Hope it was an anomaly.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and plenty of space in booths with a casual atmosphere. Not sure if there are crayons or activities...
