Well we decided to have a nice dinner and drinks for our 7 year anniversary. The staff at fig and barrel ruined that. Despite making a reservation for 6pm and actually arriving and being seated early, we did not have a single staff member come to our table. No one took our drinks, no one asked if anyone came to check on us despite us clearly only having water on the table. Not for 25 minutes. We went for brunch. Loud and obnoxious people at the bar. Singing at the top of their lungs and dropping F bombs. We couldn’t hear each other talking at the table. We talked to both the waitress and manager. Neither seemed to care. Both said they didn’t hear anything. Not sure how they missed it. The bartender kept telling them to shush. Also, service was the slow. We won’t be returning.
I can say for sure that this was the worst dining experience in my life. Why the ownership thinks it is okay for off duty staff to drink, be obnoxous and intoxicated on site, around other patrons, I will never understand.
