The owner and mostly lone bartender Mike always goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Food isn't always available unless you stop in early before 6pm when Mike usually has time to cook you something from the menu. I recommend a burger, some of the best around.
Haven't eaten here yet but one of the most laid back places I've been to. Cheering on the music, sharing a few drinks with friends, having a cigarette with em at the table. It almost feels like being over at a friend's place and jamming out. It's a small but smoking friendly bar full of great people, music and atmosphere very classic decor inside. Add a bit of American flair, subtract the fighting and it's exactly what an old English pub would be like...
First Cap is a small and quaint bar that would benefit from a little updating. Bartenders are good and service is excellent.Be warned, however, that smoking is still allowed inside the bar and you may want to skip if you are not a smoker.
