First Wok Chinese Restaurant

Decent enough food.

They always act put out to have to deal with customers. The food is okay. The recipes seem to all be the same. Couldn't tell the difference between general tzos chicken and orange chicken. Had a 3 inch long wire bristle from a brillo pad in our food. Not even sure how that

They still do not have dine in. I have eaten there prior to covid and it was very good. I like to eat in Chinese restaurant.

Got General Sol chicken. It was awful. Didn't taste like chicken. Very disappointed. What a waste of $8.

First Wok's dining room closed due to Covid-19 restrictions and remains closed for the foreseeable future, according to the hostess. Got take it about a year ago, and food was only mediocre.

I ordered grilled seafood. Got a few shrimp with beef and an unidentified meat that tastes kind of like chicken. Menu is not accurate. I do not eat meat and will not be back!

Great food and good prices. The women working here are HOT! Fantastic lunch specials.

I've been going to First Wok for over a decade. I've had many of their appetizers, soups and entrées. The Pu Pu platter is the best of any restaurant in the entire area. While I really like their won ton soup, my favorite is the Fried Rice soup. My wife calls the Spicy Pad Thai the best she's ever had. I like both the Chicken and Broccoli in white sauce or the Happy Family. The meats and seafood are always fresh, there's never any gristle or fats. The portions are overly large. The staff is wonderful as well. When I call for take out, it's always ready when I arrive and I don't have to wait. The staff is always polite and professional and has a great sense of humor. I'm looking forward to when the dining room opens again for eat in meals, but until then, I'll keep getting takeout and enjoying it at home.

I have been a customer of First Wok for over 30 years. Within the last 6 months the quality of the food has deteriorated. The consistency of the same order varies from week to week. I don't know if there are new cooks or management, but I hope the taste of the food returns to its former deliciousness.

They are only doing carry out. Seriously the best tasting Chinese food in the area. Chicken and beef on a stix, are fab. Great portions. Decent prices. You will not be disappointed.

Fast and good service for takeout place

I have gotten food from First Wok about 15 times over the last 4 years. I honestly can't remember having any food that didn't taste good from this place. I have never eaten here, only take-out. Inside seems nice enough. The host at the front is efficient and polite. Parking in great and easy access to I-83. If you are in East York, Green Garden is great!

I judge a Chinese food restaurant by how good their hot and sour soup is, and this place has one of, if not the best, hot and sour soups out there! My wife love the pork and green beans, and she could make a meal out of the fresh crispy “noodles” with their duck sauce! Service is always good and friendly as well!

Horrible! And I do not say this with ease as I grew up eating at this establishment. Not one thing I have ordered for my family has been good in years. I wait a few months and try again but it fails to deliver. This time has done me in. There was nothing I needed in my to go bag (sauces fork chop sticks napkins...) everything was burnt and over cooked. My rice was cold. I give up and will not go back.
