Awful sandwich. Ordered the Hoopoe. $17 sandwich had very little tuna, burnt bread, burnt cheese.

Isaacs is our go to place for lunch.
How sad that you can create your own sandwich but can’t get a simple grilled cheese sandwich on any other bread then white. I ended up ordering Chinese from across the street. They will not get my business again.
I ordered a scarlet ibis sandwich. It barely had any meat and cheese on it. Is this how the sandwiches are made now?
Just called to place an order at this west york location and NEED to mention that Missy gave me the best call experience I have ever had ordering at a restaurant. She was articulate, answered all questions I had (even tho I feel like some of my questions could have been found on the website) and left me with pep in my step for the day. Seriously, she went above and beyond for the phone call. I really appreciated the hospitality!
Good sandwiches.
On 10/25/24, 5:30 PM, our caterer was a no-show and I had 42 people in my yard waiting for dinner. I called Isaac's on White Street, explained our story, and had sandwiches, chips, and fresh cookies by 6:30. Katelynn and the staff were kind, reassuring, and professional. Everything tasted great! Thanks so much!

This place is never crowded, the food is always good and the staff is always friendly.
The menu has gotten to be a little pricey, but, I never leave unhappy.
Always get the tomato pepper jack soup!
Vegetarian options: Great options for vegetarians, the items are well marked.

Had lunch here 2 Sundays in a row with a group. Servers were excellent. Food came out quickly. Everything was prepared well. Staff accommodated us well. Definitely on my list of favorites as customer service still matters here.

As a Dasher my experience was really bad. I was waiting for a long time and the place it wasn’t really busy. Time is money literally for a Dasher so our worst nightmare is a place like this that they don’t have priority for their Door Dash order.
When I was in high-school Isaac's opened. It was a great spot to eat. I'm not sure what happened, but since then ( mid 90s) the menu has been reduced, the meal sizes have been reduced, but boy the prices are sky high. I do not understand it. I ordered a mallard (beef with bacon and mushrooms on a pretzel roll- in essence a heated up lunch meat sandwich). My side is chips and I order water. My daughter gets the same. Our bill is over $30.00!!! Thankfully I had a coupon that my daughter earned from the library but wow! It's too expensive. I only go if I have coupons.
