Everyone must try the fabulous corned beef Rueben! Made with Juicy corned beef, kraut, and special sauce.

The food, pricing, and service are all excellent. However, the atmosphere is unfortunately quite smoky. People with Asthma, cancer, or nonsmokers, it is highly recommended that you consider taking any remaining food with you.

The prices are insanely cheap, but the food quality is top notch! Cheap alcohol! I don’t know how they do it. I ate(and drank) there 2 nights in a row! It is cash only, but there is an ATM inside. It’s also a smoking facility, but the food is so good and ridiculously cheap it didn’t bother me! Next time I’m in York you know where I’ll be!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hidden Gem: Jackie B’s Is Old-School Perfection

If you’re looking for a place that delivers big flavor on a small budget, Jackie B’s is where you want to be. This is the kind of spot that reminds you why local diners and bars still matter.

I ordered the 8oz New York strip steak—only $5.95 with two sides. I asked for it medium-rare, and it came out perfectly cooked: juicy, tender, and seasoned just right. No frills, just a solid, honest steak done the way a steak should be. The sides were classic comfort food—creamy mashed potatoes with brown gravy and buttery green beans that hit the spot.

They’ve got cold beer on tap, served up with a smile and without the city price tag. And yes, smoking is allowed inside, so you’ll definitely feel the gritty, laid-back vibe of a bygone era where people gathered to eat, drink, and unwind. It won’t be for everyone—but if you like your dining with a side of nostalgia and character, it’s perfect.

The service is friendly, the portions are generous, and you simply cannot beat the value. Jackie B’s doesn’t try to be fancy—it’s better than that. It’s real.

Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates good food, good prices, and a little smoke in the air.

One of my favorites. Generous portions and you can’t beat the price anywhere. The crabby tomato soup is a must. Delicious.

Jackie B's is THE hidden gem of York! It literally is like stepping back into 1992. The atmosphere, the prices, and the overall feel is very nostalgic. If you don't like smoke BEWARE it is a smoking bar! For $19.87 my friend and I had two shots of whiskey, a jack and coke, lasagna dinner and a Big Boy burger. J.B. is my go to for eating out!!

Absolutely love Jackie B’s… one of my favorite places to eat, the food is great, atmosphere is relaxing, patrons are kind and the staff is great. The chocolate cake with peanut butter icing is homemade and it is fabulous. Definitely will be coming back!!! My friends and my family really enjoyed it!!

A local restaurant that offers incredibly affordable food. My filet mignon was pretty good and only $14, came with salad and baked potato. This could be a higher rating if not for the overwhelming smoke in here. I can understand at the bar, but they shouldn't allow smoking in the dining area. Also, wish they had better menus so I didn't have to get up and read the specials. Service was good though. It's good for a local, affordable meal, for those that don't mind cigarette smoke

Don’t look in the kitchen, that’s all I have to say about it. No kids allowed. Very smoky

I never do this I love Jackie bs but I am so disappointed tonight I spent 30 some dollars on dinner first attempt they put the soups I got under heavy food and it melted through and ran through box burning my legs took soup back again to get it re boxed up to one of the lids not being on right and I now have no soup that I paid for I’m not returning again to complain. I never have issues here not sure if it was rushed or what and I wasn’t going to complain but I’m not very happy.

I was kicked out because I was from out of state. Food smelled good and the atmosphere was okay but just because I'm from Michigan they refused service.

Great food, Awesome prices! Great service! Love this place. Can’t go 5 stars because of the smoking atmosphere. It’s just overwhelming and disgusting. Some may like it, but for the majority it’s just a turnoff.
