I’ve always enjoyed dining at Longhorn Steakhouse, particularly at the 2901 Concord Rd, York, PA 17402 location, where my husband and I have had many pleasant meals in the past. However, our recent visit on Sunday, June 22, 2025, was deeply disappointing and has led me to reconsider returning unless significant improvements are made.
The restaurant’s cleanliness has noticeably declined over the last few visits, but this time it was unacceptable. The moment we walked in, we were hit with a foul odor that set a terrible tone. The bar top, floor, and overall environment were filthy, with debris scattered about. Our cloth napkins were stained, and the knife provided to butter my bread was broken and grimy. We ordered an appetizer (the mushroom app, one of my favorites), but it was initially burnt, requiring a remake that never arrived. The service was equally poor— we waited an excessive amount at the bar before being acknowledged.
The final straw was overhearing kitchen staff discussing obtaining Adderall to finish their shift, which raised serious concerns about professionalism and safety. When I informed the bartender we were leaving and canceling our order, the manager intervened. Despite my frustration, her comment about removing the uneaten appetizer from the bill (which I hadn’t even received) felt dismissive rather than apologetic.
Longhorn, this location has gone downhill, and it’s a shame given its past quality. I hope management addresses these issues promptly.
