Homemade right on the spot. Owner Lori was fantastic. Bagels were soft and different. Had a Jalapeño and Cheddar. Marketplace location was interesting with a lot to look at. Food was a bargain.

I work around the corner from Lori V's and I stop in weekly for a bagel. As a New Yorker, I am not easily impressed by bagels in York, PA. Lori V's makes a really good bagel. They are hot, soft but dense, and they have classic varieties as well as some more creative options (Jalapeño bagel). If you are looking for a quality bagel in York, PA, stop into the marketplace and visit Lori V's.

They have really good food and wonderful staff.Don't go looking for fast food, as there's sometimes a wait for your pizza, but it's well worth it for the quality.

I got the thick crust cheese slice. The flavor is on point, but it was served to me cold. Room temp at best. He did put it in the oven for a few minutes, but maybe the settings need adjusted. I sat in the eating area about 10ft from the stand, directly after receiving my food which was packaged in a closed brown paper bag; so there's no way that it could have gotten cold that quick. You can see from the pic that the cheese wasn't even fully melted. I was pretty disappointed so it's a four for now. I will however try again and ask that it be served piping hot.
