Recommended by the desk attendant at my nearby hotel and proved equal to its reputation for where smart locals eat. Being Friday evening they were busy and fast paced, but it didn't seem to affect ordering and serving time. Traditional and attractive diner fare with large portions and a sizable house salad. Average prices. Disappointed the advertised special side vegetable of asparagus was unavailable. I'll return next year.

I am a foodie, I have been in diners throughout America from Colorado and up the coast. Tonight at the Linden diner I had the most amazing time. The staff is fantastic. The food is fantastic. The decoration is fantastic and the music they played was very enjoyable and not too loud that you could not carry on a conversation.. Overall, everything was great but what was exceptional was all of the staff The positive can do energy they all demonstrated was such an enjoyable experience no fake smiles here just good people hoping you enjoy their food Thank you, Lyden Diner for a wonderful night Andrew Mulligan

Great classic diner. I tried a premium milkshake.. DELISCIOUS! I had just the milkshake, but you can add a shot of top shelf liquor if you want. I also had the 'Strawberry Shortcake Belgian Waffle', at 6:00 PM on a Sunday!
