Recommended by the desk attendant at my nearby hotel and proved equal to its reputation for where smart locals eat. Being Friday evening they were busy and fast paced, but it didn't seem to affect ordering and serving time. Traditional and attractive diner fare with large portions and a sizable house salad. Average prices. Disappointed the advertised special side vegetable of asparagus was unavailable. I'll return next year.
My husband and I make a brunch date every month to go there. The food is delicious and abundant. The service is outlandish each time. We always leave with a slice of cake, which are all good. We spend under $80 for three people (incl. Appetizers)
Great classic diner. I tried a premium milkshake.. DELISCIOUS! I had just the milkshake, but you can add a shot of top shelf liquor if you want. I also had the 'Strawberry Shortcake Belgian Waffle', at 6:00 PM on a Sunday!
