Christie at Mesa Moreira was very helpful in getting us a reservation for my daughter's birthday. As the day went on and I realized we would be running late, I made a call, and they were very understanding. Once we arrived and were seated, our server was so kind and attentive throughout our entire dining experience. We had a total of seven people, and every appetizer and meal was outstanding. There were no complaints from anyone. Excellent food and excellent service make this locally owned restaurant a place worth visiting.

This was our first time at Mesa Moreira. The restaurant's decor and ambiance make it bright and inviting. We went on a Thursday night and it was pleasantly quiet. Our server was great and very friendly and attentive. For cocktails we had the Caipirinha and Porto sour. We found the drinks to be well balanced and boozy (in a good way). Depending on your alcohol tolerance level, one cocktail may be more than enough. For dinner we had the Flounder and BBQ Ribs, and they were both exquisite. I can honestly say that it was one of the best flounders I have ever had. The only miss, and reason for our rating, is that the rice was undercooked and we did not eat it. That said, there are many other dishes on the menu that we already know that we'd like to try and we are definitely going back.

We went for a special occasion and made a reservation, so our table was prepared neatly for our large party. We decided to get the meat platter to share and the paella to share. We had plenty for everyone and enough for a couple lunches. Everything was extremely tasty and well prepared. Picanha was the favorite. Definitely try the Piri sauce. Couldn't even try dessert we were too full. There were a lot of interesting cocktails available as well.

Very beautiful restaurant with amazing service. We had a wonderful time at mesa the bright interior and great service were highlights. We got the calimari and croquettes to start which were indredibly solid. However for the main course we got the meat platter to share and we were expecting great things since Portuguese food touts their meats however we were met with. A salty assortment of dry meats. The pork rib was inedibly salty while the chicken was overcooked. The sausage and pichana were the highlights of the platter. Overall I'd try something else next time
That will be the first and last time. There is never a reason not to grill fresh chicken to order.
