We came here to grab a bite before a show. Ordered our food and waited. And waited. After 30 minutes I asked if I could at least have the American coffee I had ordered and the water. Waited another 10 minutes. They are waiting for the coffee plant to grow. Terrible experience. The food might be fantastic but I wouldnt know because it STILL hasn't arrived.

Stopped by for a quick bite while walking around town. I was partially inspired to go in because there was a young man playing violin outside to raise some money for the restaurant. I went in to buy something (mostly wanted to tip the violinist) and left with much more.
The woman behind the counter told me the young man was playing to help the restaurant out because they had hit a lull in business. It’s tough for all of us out there, but to be able to support another human in even a small way, is what makes the world worth living in. The musician giving his time to the restaurant, the woman sharing some of her story with me, and me being able to give.
My heart felt warm after being in Neama’s. I felt a sense of community and care.
I got the grape leaves and was given a serving of DELICIOUS shortbread cookies. I don’t live in York, but I will be back!!!

Great place! Food was very good, service was friendly, and good atmosphere. I got the chicken shawarma sandwich and the shrimp soup. Both were very good, high quality, and flavorful. And the baklava was very good as well. Decent prices. Definitely recommend this place!

Neama's is a marvelous, family owned place with a relaxed atmosphere. The food is incredible so skip the Subway next store and pick up a healthy gyro! Three of us had gyros and they were fresh and hot and delicious with veggies and tangy Tahiti sauce. We hung out for quite a while after we ate and we were still welcomed. Great place for large groups and families.

My daughter randomly said I want to go there. The wonderful lady recommended i have the steak shawarma! Absolutely delicious! My daughter had the double cheese burger! She loved it! The women were so nice and made sure we were happy! Definitely recommend!!!!

We walked in shortly after they opened and was greeted kindly by what I assume the owner. He was very kind and helpful. Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing. We ordered Koshary, fava beans, and Egyptian salad. Such a terrific spot and so happy we decided to stop! Ive been to King Tut and Koshary, so this was new to us and equally amazing in every bite! Please support this small business! Thank you again for the delicious lunch and can't wait to come back! Sorry, no photos, ate too quickly so camera didn't get to eat first :)

I love this restaurant! Friendly and family owned, Neama's has a very diverse selection, offering both Egyptian fare, vegetarian options, and meat options. I'm a huge fan of their falafel platter. It's served with tzatziki sauce and a fresh vegetable mix. They have some delicious beverages, some made with fresh mint that they grow themselves. I highly recommend checking this little gem out!

Drove 40 minutes for this food and will definitely do it again! The green soup with the rice were phenomenal!! Tasted just like how my grandma used to make it. Macarona bachamel was great. The food is very comforting and the customer service is a 10/10! Also their mint lemonade was AMAZING!

I've been dying to try this restaurant, so I planned to come here on my birthday. Website said it would be open, but when we got down there, it was closed and looked like it had been for a while. No hours of operation were posted or even an open sign. I have no idea, but it didn't seem like this restaurant was even open.
