Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

I went to this Olive Garden after a game at the York Expo. Me and my group were taken care of by a hostess named Faith who said she has only been working there for 7 months! She gave great care and attention to all that we asked for during our visit, and a waiter even gave extra breadsticks when I was waiting in the lobby. If you come here from Maryland, ask for Faith and she has got you!

The food was absolutely delicious. We had a mix up and our apps were delivered to the wrong table and we didn’t end up getting them, but there was enough food without them and our server, Andrew, definitely made it right and made the experience great!

The bathroom was so disgusting I went outside to use the restroom. They didn’t clean it whatsoever and it smelled so bad the smell drifted into the dining area. The food is basically just overpriced pasta…

I haven’t been here in years, but the service was pretty off today. I came with friends and my one friend’s order came out extremely early, about 20 minutes or so before anyone else’s did. She finished ahead of time, way before we received ours. The first salad barely had dressing and no banana peppers. The second salad tasted right. Drinks had to be asked to refilled a few times, and same with everything else. We barely saw the server. As servers ourselves, this was disappointing. Not sure what all happened and not criticizing the server, it could have been an off day, or she was new. She did a good job, but just wasn’t really there to check in on us, and we had to ask her a few times for things.

Breadsticks and appetizer were great.

We ordered a family takeout meal and was not given any flatware, napkin or plates. As well we did not receive enough condiments either. The food was good but we definitely got shorted on the necessities.

Garbage. Ordered food for delivery, had to follow up repeatedly, didn't actually get anything for 3 hours. When we got it, it was stone cold and looked like it had been prepared by a toddler. They offered a discount on a future meal, no doubt because they suspected there would not be a futur meal. Do yourself a favor and heat up a TV dinner, it will be quicker and taste about the same.

I went on July 19, 2025. According to the website, they say they close at 11:00 pm, but don't go after 9:00 pm because the service is garbage. I ordered the gnocchi soup, which was harder than a rock. The soup was cold. The reason? They donate the food to homeless shelters, and after an hour, they separate the gnocchi from the soup. I ordered a chicken parmigiana with practically no cheese on it. I asked if I could have the soup, but without the gnocchi, which the waitress told me was no longer available. Not to mention the waitress's attitude, which was totally rude. I asked for an explanation as to why they treated me this way. The manager indicated that after a certain time, they prepare to donate the food, and that's why it was coming out like that.

Good food and reasonable prices. Our server, Kevin, was very friendly and accommodating.
