PLEASE PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN!!! I don’t know if it’s every Panera but I ordered an iced coffee and all they gave me was a empty plastic cup to make it myself? Also I ordered a Vanilla latte 16oz and only got half cup filled?! DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION

I just wanted to leave a review for anyone who is considering ordering delivery from this location. I have ordered before with no issue, but after what happened with my order today, I will no longer be going to this Panera.

I get a call from my dasher, and he is telling me that the South Queen Panera does not have my order. I have a confirmation email that shows South Queen is the right location, but I genuinely thought maybe I had mixed up the locations. After double checking many times I realized it was indeed ordered for South Queen. My dasher (bless his soul) then asks them to check again, and they still insist they do not have the order. After a little back and forth trying to figure out what is going on, they claim that the order was actually already made and picked up by someone else. This confused me, but I thought okay, maybe the wrong person picked up my order. I had ordered through the Panera app, not DoorDash. It never updated to show the order is in transit, but rather that it was still being worked on, which I also found weird. The dasher then tells me to cancel the order and request a refund, which is fully understandable, as he had already been waiting for quite a while. I waited a little while for the order to potentially show up, but as I feared, it never arrived. 😟

When I tried to obtain a refund on the app, it was not allowing me to, and instead prompting me to submit a guest complaint form. I spent 50 dollars on this meal, and I really wanted to know I was getting a refund so I could order from somewhere else with peace of mind. I’m not like a billionaire lol.

I then called the store and spoke with someone named Jamie if i recall. When trying to explain the situation, I got cut off and told I would have to contact DoorDash. I then explained that I ordered through the Panera app, not DoorDash, and would just like to get a refund since I never received my order. I then gave the lady on the phone my order number, and when she first checked, she said the order was not in her system, which again is weird, because they told my dasher they gave it out already. Then I tried to inquire if maybe it was accidentally picked up by someone else, and was told that no, that isn’t a possibility. I then asked, well how should I go about receiving my money back, because I never got my order? After giving my order number one more time, I was told that I was being refunded. I’m confused, did you have my order in your system or not? I felt really bad about the whole situation and told the lady to have a good day, and she said “what was that?” in a rude tone, which was present the entire call. I work in customer service too, so I totally get it. But if someone spends 50 dollars on food and doesn’t get it, I’m apologizing and making things right, not being super defensive and frustrated with the person. I’m upset because Panera is one of the few healthier fast food options, but I didn’t really appreciate how they handled this whole situation, so I won’t be returning.

DO NOT expect this restaurant to honor special requests for GLUTEN sensitivities. I ordered 2 Asian chicken salads--one regular, one gluten-free. That meant omit the wontons and baguette--it was simple. When ordering, because of GF request, the manager Michelle had to step in. We talked, I thought she was clear and order was taken. I could hear them talking in food prep area to expedite a gluten-free item. I get the salads and leave. When we open the salads, one has a special sticker on it, but BOTH are covered with crispy wontons. I cannot eat any salad. I call and speak with Michelle, who seemed confused about why wonton crackers were a problem. She says she will try to refund the payment but will send me coupons. As if I'm ever going back to this Panera. #1 Panera, educate your managers as to what gluten-free is. #2 Please assume I will never return once you've dosed me with gluten, so coupons don't matter. #3 If you say you're returning the payment, do so. It's been four days and charge is still on my credit card. For GF people, salad is usually safe. Not at this low service joint.

Amazing experience. The cashier in drive thru offered me a pup cup for my puppy and explained that it was going to be a wait. She was friendly. The food was five star quality. Love this location and their people. Keep up the great work!

Not sure what is going on with Panera but they are falling apart.
We have been to two different locations at 530 pm and they are out of food and what food they have is terrible to the taste.
I will hope someone reads this and they can adjust their business model.

This location was in bad shape when we arrived. None of the tables had been wiped off and we had to ask the staff for something to wipe ours off with. All the trash cans were full. The bathroom didn't have toilet paper in the handicap stall in the ladies room despite us letting the staff know it was empty. That trashcan was also overflowing and the whole restroom was messy and had stuff all over the floor. We were there for a few hours having a meeting and catching up and no one came into the dining room to wipe off any of the tables while we were there. The food was what I expect from a Panera. Everything was fresh and nicely prepared. If they could get the dining area and bathroom cleaned up it could be a nice place.

Parking: There is only one entrance to the parking lot and it's a bit weird to find if you're not coming in from Queen Street.

Might want to stock bagels more on Sundays. Was told there was 3 Asiago left when I ordered 6, then it went down to 1 when I got the order. Substituted bagels with allergens I cannot eat. I expect to order what I ordered, and to have products as simple as bagels in stock.
