I recently called to place an order for my mother's birthday cake, as she specifically requested it from this cake shop. Unfortunately, my experience on the phone was quite disappointing. I was spoken to in a rude and rushed manner, which left me confused and shocked. I was treated dismissively, which was surprising given that I was simply trying to give my business to this establishment.
Despite my frustration, I proceeded with the order because the cake was for someone else, not for me. Later, I shared my experience with family and friends, and several of them mentioned having similar encounters with this shop. It seems that the attitude displayed towards customers is consistently unwelcoming and unprofessional.
Customer service is a crucial aspect of any business, and it was disheartening to feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. While the cake itself is satisfactory, the overall experience was marred by the poor treatment I received. I hope that this feedback encourages the business to improve its customer service and ensure that all customers are treated with respect and kindness.

Got a birthday cake for the little one, spider man themed, and it was probably the best cake I’ve ever had. 10/10 highly recommend this place to everyone.

Best place hands down for cupcakes, cakes and little pastries.
! Theyre very talented not only with taste but also with their artistic designs. I gave them a picture off of Pinterest for my son’s first birthday cake and they did better than the picture provided! I received so many compliments. I’d also highly recommend getting the lemon blueberry cheesecake cake! Everyone loved it! The chocolate with chocolate ganache was also amazing but make sure you have some milk near by 🥰

This place deserves a million stars. Providence is my go to place whenever I need any cake. They’ve done some truly incredible pieces for me and my kids. I can’t thank them enough for always going above and beyond. They always communicate in a timely manner, and absolutely knock my vison out of the park. I will forever go to Providence for any baking need!

In looking at the reviews, this place is great for special order cakes. However, I came in as a customer looking for a single sweet treat. Purchased a chocolate chip scone that was displayed on a plate with other flavors of scones. When I tasted my scone, it had a distinct citrus flavor, and I don't remember server mentioning the CC scone being mixed with other flavors. Very disappointing
I called the very beginning of the month (Feb 2024) needing a birthday cake for March (plenty of notice) and never heard back from anyone. Very difficult to find a quality bakery these days. Sad.

Got a cake for my daughters bday that was already made and in the case and it was 65$ and utterly disguisting. Lady wasn't overly nice either. Acted as if she couldnt write a a 5 letter name on the cake for me without trouble. Do not reccomend at all. The cake will be thrown out, it's not even worth putting in your mouth. I DO NOT Reccomend

Providence is an almost weekly visit Saturday mornings to claim whatever chocolate chip cookies with sea salt and caramel they have left. Those cookies are easily the best I've ever had. Everything we've ever gotten from this location has been a winner, and I enjoy the banter each weekend. I'm a customer for life and suggest everyone give them a shot, just don't buy my Saturday morning cookies...
Will never return here. Horrible service! Owner and staff do not care about customer appreciation. I asked if they could make a cake for my son’s party to celebrate his birthday and racing contract. I sent pictures of the colors and design. They said that was fine and to call. The next day I called to make my order. Apparently the person who took the order never wrote the order correctly. Tomorrow is the party and when we picked it up, it didn’t even say happy birthday and looked like a girls cake. I explained that this was not at all what I ordered and the lady on the phone argued with me. I explained that I even sent pics in Facebook and she tells me only the owner has access to Facebook. I asked to speak to the owner and she refuses saying she’s too busy with a wedding cake. Their solution was to give me a happy birthday stick. I message in Facebook explaining my dissatisfaction. Miraculously the owner who is apparently the only one with access to Facebook and who was too busy to talk on the phone, responds very rude in Facebook saying that they can’t read my mind about what I wanted to order. I show them the exact messages staying that it was for a birthday and their staff didn’t take the order correctly. I also explained it looks like a girls fall cake with flowers and they tell me that they are not flowers. They are rosettes. Duh! It’s a boys racing theme cake! Their solution, the day before the party, is to bring it all back for a refund. Not even to offer to just remove the stupid rosettes and write happy birthday. That’s all I was asking! No customer service at all!

I ordered my wedding cake from Providence Divine Cakes two years ago. It was just as delicious as it was beautiful. When I needed a cake for a celebration of a family member's wedding last weekend, Providence, once again, came through with a delightful delicious cake. Can't thank them enough for providing an exquisite cake, on very short notice. Everyone loved it. ♥
