Rocoto Peruvian Rotisserie Chicken and Bowls

Stopped by for a quick bite and got the Lomo Saltado with beef. Arrived quickly and was hot, fresh and flavorful. Tender beef, tasty steak. I'd highly recommend getting a side of their hot sauce which looks to be house made. Will return again.

Brandon is such a pleasant manager ! So professional , I love how good he speaks Spanish as well , spotless clean , Also I want to mention Xuri , she is always so attentive and greets us with a smile in her face.

The food and service are consistently wonderful. I eat lunch here as often as possible. I highly recommend Rocoto at Leader Heights.

Transparently this was my first time having Peruvian chicken so I can't speak to the authenticity. I ordered the half chicken meal and was a little taken aback by the price. But there was enough for two meals so I was OK with it. The chicken was excellent. Super juicy and flavorful. Would definitely recommend. The beef empanada was also quite good. The black beans were very bad. No flavor at all so would definitely skip those.

My favorite place to go to when they are open. Food and service is always 100%, and they are always extremely kind. The managers are doing a great job as well as their staff. Absolutely never disappointed.

I ordered a whole chicken with two sides plus added a side of fries. The food was really good, but definitely not Peruvian. The yellow sauce tasted like yellow mustard and mayo.
My sides was plantains, fries, and fried rice. All were good but the fries and plantains was barely enough for three, and we had four of us. Hopefully they work on giving more sides. This is why I only gave three stars.
The service was excellent and the place was super clean.
Hope the community supports them. It’s nice to have something other than fast food or American food. I’ll definitely be back to try some of the other food choices.

So glad there’s Peruvian food in York, Pennsylvania. This is my new favorite place to eat. You have to try the empanadas??. Also make sure you try both the Rocoto cream and the yellow sauce!

Empanadas were heavenly and the meals themselves had amazing unique flavors. The manager was very friendly and knowledgeable. 10/10 would come again if we didn’t live 4 hours away (still might be worth the drive)

Good option if you want to try Peruvian food. I have only tried the lomo saltado and bistec a lo pobre and I recommend them.

The food is nice. While the chicken and sides don't taste like actual Peruvian food, it's still pretty good rotisserie chicken. My only disappointment was that I ordered a whole chicken and the side of veggies barely filled the container. If they didn't have much veggies left, I would've appreciated the option of choosing another side.
