Been a few times now, every time the food has been great. The chicken cascades were awesome.
The quality of the food is only rivaled by how quickly it is prepared and served to you. Make no mistake the food is delicious, the empanadas full, and the rocoto sauce delectable. I have tried a new menu item the several visits I made since its opening and have yet to decide a favorite as they never fall short on anything. If I had to choose a favorite it would be the Beef Seco the way the meat melts in your mouth with every bite is comparative to your old man’s own legendary cooking. Additionally the employees are well educated not only on Peruvian cuisine but the culture of Peru as well which only adds to the restaurant’s authenticity. Always a pleasurable and FILLING experience could not recommend this place more.

My wife and I decided to drive here to try out. I went based solely on one persons review and that it could give El Serrano a run for its money. The staff was very nice and the location felt clean when walking through the door. I feel i didn't get what i paid forNearly $40 for 2 Lomo wraps and 2 drinks. The amount of food was a lot even though most of it was rice. As far as flavor, there was none. Zero!! I was expecting something close to what I am used to but was very disappointed. In every bite, I had hard pieces of rice. The chicken was hard and hardly any in it. The tomatoes even had no flavor, and I am not even sure how that is possible. The only thing that had flavor and completely overpowered the taste of everything was the onion. I was really hoping to find a replacement for driving 1 hour to Lancaster, but it looks like I will still be making that drive. We are usually the type of people that will give a 2nd try, but the experience was so bad that I will never come back.
