Atmosphere is cute, but it took me an hour to get my food, and the food was bland. It tasted like the waffle mix was made with floured watered down batter, And them chicken tenders were dry. Overall never again, and thanks for the food poisoning.

LOVED THE VIBE, staff, avocado toast, fried green tomatoes, and apricot beignet. Did not love biscuits—too salty, hash browns-deep fried brick, eggs skillets too much onion. Monkey bread was just ok. The pizza looked DELISH so will definitely be back to try that!

What a gem! Both me and my husband had Brotherly Love Hash and Apricot Beignets and we were very impressed. The amount of food is very generous, so even if it seems pricey it’s worth every penny. Coffee was good, and services was lovely. Atmosphere is 10/10 as well. Colorful and bright.

My family and I had breakfast here and had a great time! One person in our party has a gluten allergy and the option she got was great! Our hard to please coffee snobs were surprisingly impressed with the coffee, as well. Overall, the food and coffee was great, our service was exemplary, and the atmosphere was great.

If brunch was crafted by unicorns, they definitely set up shop at Roost Uncommon Kitchen in York! From the moment we sat down, our exceptional waitress and mixologist extraordinaire, Maliyah, sprinkled magic into the morning. She didn’t just take care of us—she choreographed a full-on brunch adventure.Let’s talk drinks: the spicy Bloody Mary came out like a firecracker in a glass—bold, perfectly balanced, and downright invigorating. Then came the espresso martini—smooth, velvety, and strong enough to make me feel like I could conquer both the day and the dance floor. As for the food, the blue crab omelet was so delicate and rich it could pass for a seaside treasure. The spicy avocado toast was refreshingly bright with just the right kick, the kind of toast that makes you wonder why you ever settled for boring breakfasts before. And the hashbrowns? Utterly otherworldly. Crispy, golden on the outside, pillowy on the inside—like little potato triangle miracles that make every forkful an encore. Roost isn’t just a meal—it’s a brunch experience that leaves you smiling long after the last sip and crumb. Huge thanks to Maliyah for making the whole visit sparkle. Five enthusiastic stars, and a promise to return with an even bigger appetite!

It used to be my favorite place to order breakfast from DoorDash. I would order nearly every Saturday. I got the sausage and gravy and they gave a thimble size portion of gravy packaged separately which I paid $14 (2 orders) for. Usually they pile it on the biscuit and you get more gravy.
I called to discuss with them and the staff who answered the phone did not care at all. She was impatient, sassy, and told me to call back later because “I can’t hear you.”
DoorDash gave me $1 back 🙄 What a stupid waste of money for a small portion and poor customer service

Visited at 10am on a Sunday and it was the perfect brunch breakfast! Parked at garage next to White Rose and walked 2 minutes.
Breakfast and coffee is excellent. Atmosphere is fun, even my 5-year-old loves it (ESPECIALLY the touch tunes)

Thank you ROOST for the delicious brunch. Slab bacon and fried green tomatoes were so tasty! Service was wonderful. I had the french toast with berries and granola. Portion was huge but more importantly it was delicious. Didn't love the cafeteria style tables in the back but we were a huge party so that's what they had the space for.

They understand the assignment! We challenged them with an easy fail. We went for the salmon bagle. It was spot on. Only time in about 15 opportunities I have seen it perfected.

The breakfast is amazing, crispy bacon and the hash brown is so unique crafted into a square patty and fried. If you can get over the loud TouchTunes playing go get breakfast here, maybe play your own song if it bothers you.
