I was very disappointed with my takeout experience yesterday. To start, my mom and I both ordered the same temperature for our steak - medium. One steak was cooked medium rare and the other was cooked medium well. I’ll share a photo of them side by side where you can see the clear difference. I mean that’s just bad when it’s even in the same order! The side salads are a pitiful portion compared to what they give you if you dine in. Our order requested an extra dressing for the Caesar salad, which was not provided. I actually ordered the same exact thing from here last week and they failed to include my extra dressing then also so it seems to be a common mistake for this location. My mom ordered butter and sour cream for her baked potato toppings which were literally put in the same container! See photo. We both have worked in restaurants and that is completely unacceptable! I read another review on here that the same thing happened to another customer so I guess it’s what they do normally. The only thing that was remotely acceptable was my sweet potato. All around very disappointing takeout experience from this location. I will no longer be giving them my business. Do better.

This is our 3rd time getting undercooked meat from here. We ordered two kids meals to go and the burgers were raw in the middle. This is our last time ever eating here. I would not recommend coming at all.

Definitely DONT order to go and check your bag if you do before getting home. Got 8oz sirloin looked like a 6. Medium rare but got medium and burnt on the whole bottom. Mashed potatoes was barely filled up halfway so a rip off. Butter and sour cream half empty and combined in container. The bread I kid you not was in almost shape of triangle and tiny! Only gave 2 pieces. That I did go back and ask for more since the light bag was noticeable before leaving and I was told there’s a shortage on bread. My mistake for not checking everything else of course. Didn’t even give me silverware like requested.

We almost never go wrong going to Texas Roadhouse in York. Today I took my wife for our anniversary and it was just a horrible experience. Waited 10 mins for anyone to take drink orders. We waited 50 mins to receive our food. Had to tell the server about our salad on which she mentioned it was scheduled to come out with our main course. Then when our food came out my wife ordered a medium well steak but comes out medium rare. My prime rib I ordered medium and it came out well done. Manager seriously was no help at all. Told her what was wrong and just had a disgusted look on her face like we were in the wrong. Then walked away to never return to our table. Definitely one of the worse experiences.

After receiving pork chops that were still raw in the middle I asked for them to be recooked and when they came back 15min later (after the rest of my family had already finished their meals) they were extremely burnt management didn’t care to even look simply handed me the to you box with them in and walked away. The York Texas Roadhouse has been steadily going downhill between the undercooked or overcooked food constantly having to ask multiple times for the items you’ve already ordered and management that doesn’t seem to care. We won’t be back at the York location we will travel farther to get the better service at another location.
