The food was great don't get me wrong but what lost this 3 stars was the service, the waiter gave us our food and we were waiting for her to come back for about an hour, there was an older couple sitting near us that our waiter straight up forgot to put in their meals and when we asked for boxes we had to ask 5 times I would suggest going here but not on a Saturday

just ordered a platter from your location tonight got the brisket, pulled pork potato wedges and a baked potato. literally the only thing edible was the baked potato. the brisket was more fat than meat, it was very greasy and no taste at all. the pull pork was dry as hell also no taste to it too. the potato wedges were disgusting. you guys really should dress your brisket before smoking it and used a better rub on it and your pork. I used to like your BBQ but this was a waste of money. I will never order from you guys again. you really either need to redo the whole prep and cooking process of your smoked meats or simply just stop trying to pass this insult off as BBQ.

order on-line for curbside pickup never received a time for curbside pickup called 4 times no one answered the phone called the 5th time finally got a answer. Went to pick it up and called to let them know I was there to pick up the order and of course no one answered again so went inside to get my order couple of workers seen me you'd think they come to see what I was there for not one checked then another finally got my order!!! The worst service ever will let friends and family know not to do curbside from them

My husband and I love eating at Smokey Bones. When we are in the York area, we always stop in for dinner. We just want to give a 'shout out' to our server, Julie, at our most recent visit. She was so friendly and efficient, paying close attention to see that we had what we needed. Not only was our food great, but also our service was great ..... thanks Julie for making our visit to Smokey Bones a good one!

Wanted five guys and found out they were closed in York. I ordered Burger Experience via Uber eats, Food was Amazing ?!!!. Looked at the places reviews after eating first two Reviews, NOT my experience. As a former Cook, the? Smack ?️ n ??????Thank u guys ? keep up the good work!!!

I used to love coming to Smokey Bones in York Pa they removed the cinnamon apples and changed the skillet cornbread to regular corn bread and definitely does not have the flavor and it’s gritty taste. I’m very disappointed. I received my baby back ribs and they were total fatty and changed the original sweet barbecue sausce sauce I’m very disappointed and I won’t be coming back.

Me, wife and adult teenage daughter had moved to York, Dover area last year and we had gone to different restaurants when we could afford to. We stopped at Smokey Bones on August 10th (for my 56th birthday) after wife made reservations for mid-afternoon, and the resturant had some customers and we were seated right down at a nice table that had the different sauces, which were great. Our waitress was very prompt and got our drinks quickly. (The waitstaff had seen I was disabled and walking with forearm crutches and apologized for the walk to the table, but I told them I was fine with the walk and they had zero need to apologise, If I would have needed a close table, I would have asked. ^^) Daughter had the chicken strips which were outstanding, while wife and I decided to get the Bone-fires with the mix of meats in a small barbeque with a coal briquette in the base to keep everything hot. THAT Blew our minds by how GREAT the food was. Everything on those grills were so mouth watering, we couldn't decide what we both liked most. ^^ My mouth is watering as I'm writing this review. ^^(My wife loves everything, while I LOVE meats, so it's fairly easy to have an enjoyable meal...)The waitress was so good, she made the time there even more enjoyable. The only downside? Honestly, I can't think of one. BUT, I won't have any trouble recommending Smokey Bones to anyone looking for great food, and a great place to eat.Cheers...^^
