The food was a huge disappointment. We got the crabcakes, which was served over risotto. You couldn’t find hardly any crab in the crabcakes. It was mostly saltines and mayo. Big disappointment. We can make better crab cakes at home. They bragged about making them like Maryland crab cakes not even close. Needless to say we won’t be back.

My husband and I went to dinner tonight with 4 other friends here. The service was excellent and so was the atmosphere. However my husband and I were disappointed with our food. I got the shrimp and corn chowder and that was good, but my drink and my small plate were disappointing. I ordered the buffalo chicken bomb and they really tasted like the chef used Pillsbury croissants and put a tiny teaspoon full of a chicken mixture in and baked it. If I had made it at home, I would have done better. Then my pomegranate spritzer tasted like only soda water. My husband had the beef and mushroom stroganoff and there was plenty of mushrooms but he felt it was flavorless.

Wow, where do I start? We visited the handesome cab Sat, Nov 15th, 2025. My wife and I were visiting York for the weekend. The owners were awesome, decor awesome, atmosphere awesome. Food, not so much!! Pretty terrible. My Cacio e Pepe was swimming in oil, the cheese was not creamy, it looked like the 3 cheeses were sprinkled on the dish without the constant blending into the pasta to create the creamy sauce, it was completely prepared incorrectly AND it came in a skillet!! It looked like oil and water seperating, clearly the chef has no clue how to make this simple, yet elegant, technical dish. My wifes main dish was the Portugeuse Burgerette.. The menu states it comes with an orange aioli but it clearly was not, it was mayonnaise, and lots and lots of it! Our appetizer consisted of the Bang Bang shrimp. They were extremely overcooked and had no flavor because of it! We were left with a horrible aftertaste of oil in our mouths, not good. Again, technically, the chefs cooking technique failed once again. In all fairness, my mother in law had the Asian Veggie Burgerette and she enjoyed it. We would return for a night cap, just not for a Dark and Stormy, which my wife had and was all wrong, was shakened and stirred, lol, and or listen to the piano player, which, btw, on the night we were there was not performing. My mother in law was happy, I'm fine with that!

Pros: We weren't turned away for no reservation on a Friday night. The food and mixed drinks were delicious. Cons: The service wasn't great. I had get up and find someone to get a second round of drinks. Food also took quite a while to be cooked/served. I got the double smashed burger and was highly disappointed with the size. Fast food burgers dwarf this double patty. Especially since it was a $17 burger. That said, the carmelized bacon was exquisite.

First off I want to start off my saying that I frequent this establishment often. Usually the drinks are spot on. Its one of the reasons I like coming here. Tonight was a different story. The new female bartender I don't think has any idea what she is doing or she needs more training. 2 different round of drinks my friend and I ordered were wrong. The other female bartender that has been working here for awhile fixed them for us. I dont think I will be ordering any drinks from the new girl until she can make some improvement. The consistency or the following of a recipe just was not there tonight.

Both times for me it took quite a bit for not being busy just for the food to be cold and mediocre. Great atmosphere and staff but with so many options within a block radius I doubt I’ll be back for a third attempt

Our first time visiting this establishment and we could not have been more impressed! The service was welcoming and excellent. The small plates were not very small and were absolutely delicious! The chef clearly knows how to make dishes taste savory. The beer and wine selection is top notch and our waiter was well educated. There is a piano in the main dining area, though it was not being played during our visit, the vibe of the restaurant conveys it would be an amazing piano bar experience. Oh, did I mention the food was fantastic? There is a bar and lounge upstairs that offers a small and relaxing getaway from the main area on the first floor. Will go back often!

My friends and I went here at 8:30pm on Friday night for drinks. The restaurant is open until midnight. The restaurant was half-empty, but the bar was full, so we wanted to sit on the patio. Instead, we stood at the host station for 15 minutes without being acknowledged. Servers ran around, bartenders stood behind the bar. We walked around multiple times to show we were there, and people saw us- but no one bothered to speak to us ore even make eye contact. Finally I stopped a server myself and asked if anyone was seating. He was clearly annoyed and said someone would be with us. Finally, another server came from the back and took us to the patio. Was it really that hard?? The restaurant was nearly empty!! Two stars because the drinks were decent, but staff was incredibly rude.
Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and drinks in a friendly and inclusive environment. Rob is great and the staff has always been top notch. Thanks for all you do....Oscar

I don’t know where to start. We went here today for my boyfriend’s birthday. Everyone was so kind and made us feel extremely special. Phil our waiter is amazing 10 out of 10. Highly recommend. If you get Phil, you are lucky he is incredible. The owner was so sweet, Robert, And I’m just so incredibly thankful that we went there. We will be back!!!!!

This will sound weird praising such a simple dish, but this was the best Caesar Salad I have ever had. Crisp fresh delicious. The bacon wrapped dates were a stretch. Service was very friendly. Atmosphere was relaxed. Enjoyed myself

Stopped by for happy hour yesterday and met the most pleasant bartender and server! Both men were great and I enjoyed myself. So glad they got a new bartender the last male bartender with the bald head was really mean lol.
