Bang Bang shrimp. $18.00 for 6 shrimp and they weren't the big ones either. Very disappointing and felt ripped off. Figure it out that's over $3.00 per shrimp. No wonder the place was dead.

Had a very nice brunch. Food was slightly under seasoned. It was a Halloween bar crawl so it also took a little more time than usual for the food to arrive. But overall still a good brunch and good service.

Parking: It is difficult to find parking close to the restaurant.

As a native New Yorker who explores different parts of the country and world I have to say that this place deserves every last one of their stars. Everything from the food to the service to the people was so good. Very friendly and peaceful. Waiters are very attentive and definitely a place I'll be returning to next time I'm in York, PA.
P.S. if you're into art you should check out the gallery they have upstairs. And if you're not into art you should still check it out because it'll definitely spark your interest when you leave.

Updating an earlier review to reflect the updated service an atmosphere! It's one of our favorite places to go now to celebrate occasions. Food is great, service is good, drinks are tasty, atmosphere is unmatched in York City!

I took my sister-in-law here for dinner for her bachelorette and it was the biggest mistake I've made that weekend.
We had reservations at 7:30pm for a group of 7 and did not end up eating until around 9pm. It also took a very long to receive our drinks (which was just wine). We mentioned how long our food was taking after about 45 minutes and were told several times it would be another 5 minutes. When we first arrived it seemed they were coming off a little bit of a busy hour, but by the time we ate the restaurant was nearly empty.
After the 1.5 hours, our food started coming out one plate at a time over about 20 minutes. I'm convinced no one was making our food until we mentioned how long it was taking .
Now here is the kicker-- no attempts were made to amend the issue. We asked our server to either add a discount or have a manager sent over. He only offered a dessert, which we did not want because we didn't want to miss our next event for the bachelorette weekend and were tired of sitting there for hours at this point.
Later we discovered that the server didn't want to send a manager or discount the meal because when 7 or more people are at dinner, the tip is included. So despite failures of Handsome Cab staff, we had to pay full price and 20% tip for a meal that took 2 hours and for mediocre service and experience.
I would not recommend Handsome Cab for larger groups. Maybe it's ok when it's just 2-4 people, but I wouldn't take that gamble.

Don’t advertise brunch if you can’t handle the customers during these hours. Properly staffing the establishment with a host and adequate wait staff would make sure your waiters are not visibly upset with customers who are coming in to spend money.
