Man, just move to North York from Baltimore and of all places to fine a 'diamond' of a little Sicilian eatery/ takeout! Grow up on Italian/ Sicilian eats. My Mama, Salvatrisa was first generation Sicilian. Love this little place and reminded me of my grandpa Salvatore's shoe repair shop ( quaint little dark green store front with lots of plants inside) in Western P.A., growing up. When there during lunch hour. Very busy and everyone was happy, friendly actually joking and singing. I was in shock most of the time I need to put up with the waitstaff that hate there job. People in the back yelling and blaming. I suggest you go sit and have a slice of Big Mac pizza. You will be amazed.Parking: Out back. Free.

I've heard great things and had to try the food. Came in for the Alfredo but ended up ordering the cheese ravioli and cream of crab soup. Both exceeded my expectations, as well as my lunchtime appetite! But, it was worth stuffing myself to sample this garden of Italian fare. The restaurant is immaculately clean and has a very comfy, hometown vibe that made it pleasant to pull up my computer and do some work. Looking forward to losing myself in the Heart of Sicily again!
